I think it's because love like the galaxy had 52 episodes. POJ is just 40. The Screenwriter probably didn't know how to accomodate so much in 40 episodes. If POJ had been 50+ episodes, they would have been able to do justice to the story.

I wish someone had recoded Tian xiwei's reaction when the managers were toasting. She did suggest for them to kiss and makeup if POJ is successful 😂😭. I know she is wheezing seeing fan edits of the managers ( the one in wedding outfit, toasting)
