I’m seriously trying to stop myself from crossing the line and ship them in rl but the fan meet makes it harder for me! They look so comfortable with each other 🤧🥺❤️
My heart broke for Yu Tu when he overheard his parents conversation... I have imagined the scene but I did not expect the drama to be THAT painful. Knowing that his dreams fill his heart but may broke his family's different from actually experiencing/hearing it from them
Okay, I’m seeing a lot of comparison between Love O2O, FIYS and LS. I have watched all these dramas with e-sports/gaming tags and I can attest that these dramas differ.
FIYS are similar only because of the gaming tag. The plot differs and e-sports or athletes at some point can relate more to their conflicts.
LS, as I mentioned on the comments below, met for the FIRST TIME through the game. Those who have seen YAMG for the first time (without reading the novel) may find it similar because both FLs are actress and the MLs are knowledgeable on the game. THAT’S IT!
Yang Yang has a lot of gaming dramas.. I’m actually amazed because I can differentiate between Xiao Nai, Yu Tu and Ye Xiu. Xiao Nai seems to perfect to me to the point that his character seems unreal. Some may find that his acting in Love O2O was too stiff. In my opinion, that is necessary for the role. I have not read the novel but seeing the whole drama in one sitting makes sense. He’s literally playing a privileged and talented son paired with an equally talented FL so the drama is smooth flowing. King’s Avatar is a non-romance gaming drama so I see less to no comparisons at all.
I know criticisms can help one’s growth but if it’s baseless, then what’s the point? I have read the novel and I can say that both actors have done a great job. Its basically seeing the novel come to life. The conflicts in YAMG is deep and relatable. Yang Yang’s eyes convey his hidden emotion and internal conflict. If you guys found the gaming part boring, then you may skip it. However, I think you would miss the point on how their attachment and feelings grow. The exhibition game, if I interpreted the calendar right, is scheduled on Monday (for VIP users) on eps 13-14. After that, we will witness their growths individually then together.
I didn't like the first episode, firstly the plot is somewhat similar to Love Scenery which makes it hard for…
Love Scenery literally dragged the meeting part until half of the series which I hate. You may find it similar because first ep showed that they met through the game. The game is necessary, for comparison.. it's like QJJ's excuse to spend time with YT. They knew each other beforehand so its actually more of "reconnecting" than meeting through the game like in LS.
Idk if this would discourage you from watching it but just a heads up... gaming is present until 14-16th ep (one of the 3 eps) according to the calendar. However, in my opinion, the game and the reality is balanced.
How come some can rate the drama when there are only 8 episodes available for VIP and 2 for non-VIP? hmmm
Anyway... I'm having a hard time differentiating Reba and Yang Yang from their characters. They really own their characters. The pacing is just right like on the novel. I also love the editing, the CGI, the OST... basically everything!!! I'm honestly torn between watching every release or binge watch.
Can’t believe the drama is almost here! 😊 YAY!!! So very excited to see one of my favorite couples in a novel…
I skimmed through the cast and they are here so we would definitely see it. I would like to see how the entertainment personnels react with her "mysterious man who could not be photographed".
As I remember, some of her fans are neutral and would like to wait for statement before believing it. I just hope they could show how they connect one crumb to another. I feel like QJJ is really careless and her fans let her indulge into the illusion of not being exposed hahaha

I also have mine!!
Her fans are all hilarious and so supportive. I just hope they include that epilogue wherein her fans are investigating about her lovelife. Plus I wish they would be exposed and show her fans reactions. I feel like the novel lacks the exposing part haha
ANOTHER GAMING drama !!! china i s developing in everything except scriptwriting :( I love the main actors but…
Then there's me who's wishing for another gaming drama 🤧
Anyway, have you seen other cdramas? The genre is so wide to the point that I could switch from a genre to another when I'm sick of it. There are a lot of cdramas and currently I am enjoying them now more than kdramas. So if you do not want gaming dramas then switch to another, that simple. You dont have to go through all the trouble and comment ur hate in here.
Next, have you read the novel? No? Have you seen the tags up there? Gaming is listed as the last tag, thus the drama is NOT ENTIRELY about gaming. Yes, it played a big part on their relationship but that's it. Simply put, its like the game serves as their dating app wherein they got to reconnect with each other again and build a deeper relationship through circumstances.
Yang Yang failed to make a explosive hit after Love O2O, and the flop Martial Universe damaged his poppularity…
Well, I’ve been surrounded by 1st time cdrama viewers and they prefer modern. I personally prefer modern than historical dramas since it has less angst. I cannot handle more pain when I only watch cdramas on my free time.

I think his popularity will increase globally through this drama? I know a lot of viewers who prefer modern than xiangxia/wuxia. For comparison, Xu Kai’s modern drama has, if my twitter mootz are accurate, has higher views globally than his costume drama which is airing simultaneously?
Ah poor Yu Tu 🥺
I think it’s because his character is actually reserve?? Let’s see on the latter part since he was supposed to be playful.
