Okay, so its been a while since I have done this and be warned I can passionate about this. Full disclaimer, I have nothing against any of the actor and actresses, I think that they did a phenomenal job and I will only be talking about the character. Without further ado, let's begin.
KIM DESERVED BETTER!!! Alright let's looks back to when Pan found out about his cheating and instead of trying to find the reason, she goes and ruins his name. I am not saying that cheating is acceptable but the reason he did it was logical and also, Pan is dense. She went straight to hating Kim because of what she found without having fully instigated it, not only that she also forgot about how kind he was to her. Without even knowing her, he offered to give her a ride even though she was the cause of the problem with Way getting expelled and not only that, when they died, he make sure to take care of her at the gate. She is a pathetic character only choosing to see the what was on the outside without seeing it further inside. She misleads the watchers to think something else instead of reality and tarnishes his reputation because of what she thinks. She also does not think about the reality of things and tries to do what she wanted with Kim's body without his consent and without considering his feelings. She said that Kim does not deserve this or that but he deserved more than anything to get a happy ending instead of him dying. He loved Way with all of his heart and the only screen time that Kim gets is little. I mean, I know Pan is the main character but he deserved more. There was so much that he could have done, from the beginning to the end his character was meant to suffer and I think that was utter BS. He was just some stepping stone for Pan to love Khett and while I know that there is nothing wrong with that, there is something wrong with taking a person's life in order to satisfy someone else. I also feel bad for Way as he was just some character that was meant to say "it's okay that the person I love is dead and that you used his body to find your true love" what utter BS. The whole thing where everything should revolve around the main character trope was just infuriating. Way and Kim were both good guys and they deserved a happy ending as much as Pan does.
DANG IT, I'M SO EMOTIONAL OVER THIS. I CRIED THE WHOLE 10-12 EPISODE FOR THEM!!!
The reality of it is that Kim was an ANGEL and you can see it even in the end when Way was playing heads or tails with Kim in the church and Way said that if it was heads Kim would have to help the girl and that was after Kim told Way to let the girl live her life. When Way tossed it and it was tail, Kim flipped it to head, like seriously can he be a better person to do this for someone who was horrible towards him. I hate the fact that Way and Kim were just innocent bystanders who got pulled into this just to be stepped on by Pan, they had their own lives and goals too. They deserved to go live their lives especially since they worked hard for it and it was completely irresponsible for the writer to take what they have worked so hard for and sacrificed so much for away from them like that.
On the other hand, Angel of Death was killing it throughout the whole series and especially the end when she questioned the dead guy if he was the one in the book of death like a million times not to make her previous mistake again. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that the Angel of Death represented us fan when she went crazy over the guys in the series. :) --tata
