Well it's perfectly reasonable when you consider they probably wouldn't have remembered their past lives right away. Take into account that Prof and Geum had a pretty good relationship at the beginning, they didn't really remember their past lives until the past few episodes. It's possible that the deer remembered the past life as the fire fairy at a later point, and killed the husband for "revenge." Anyway, the deer literally told the prof they were the same person. Also every memory the professor possesses "as" the husband had the deer there, or seeing the same thing at some point. I think it's pretty much confirmed that he's not going to be the husband.
I think after episode 10 it's extremely obvious that the prof is the fire fairy/deer, and Geum is the husband like in the original story. But what I want to know is if the prof had a kissing scene with Ok Nam in the webtoon, or if they added this in to the drama to shift things more towards his favor for the future. Gah! I hate waiting for the new episodes.
Kind of infuriating that Seul Gi's character was considered "ugly" in the drama. She's totally adorable! You can't tell me for a second that she's bad looking. That aside, it was entertaining , of adorable, and had a nice message at the end.
