it is also a slooooowww burn romance. if this is not your cup of tea, then you might not like it. Also this drama is not plot heavy... the early episodes have a lot of action, but the middle is really about the leads relationship development.

I am soooo looking forward to this... Hope the writing and storyline will not disappoint. 🤞

Have you seen Love Like the Galaxy? It's good, has a heavier plot, and is not primarily focused on romance.

I agree with you... Novel ML was rough, inconsiderate, and aggressive... I should clarify that I meant to say since the novel had a lot of passion/intimacy, if the drama had our MLs touching lips, then it would be a let down in my opinion... I don't need many kiss scenes, but at least one highlighting their passion. Novel ML was a red flag, and the Drama ML was greener...

I wonder 🤔if native, Chinese speakers would have a different translation... some phrases don't translate well or clearly to other languages.

oh, interesting point about a female director directing the intimate scenes... well it was beautifully done, and more importantly doing justice to the characters and story since the novel had many passionate scenes. I prefer when its a novel / storybook adaptation that they stay true to the characters as best as reasonably possible...

The ending made it seem like Bi Zhi left on his own, riding away with his horse....

It has been a long time since I've cried in dramas.... the scenes were so real, so emotional and couldn't stop the tears from flowing....
