Yes, absolutely possible at this point. I think where people get disappointed is if they expect a HE and the ending shows up differently, they feel let down. Preparing for all possibilities can help mitigate that disappointment.

this is a very heavy drama, with dark tones and themes that can trigger... it's important to be prepared for the worst.

I do not know who created the cast members page and how she came to be classifed as a guest role (will leave this question for those in the know). I agree with you that she seems more like a support character than a guest, at this point in the drama. I would not assume that she will die... I mean there are other support characters who have died.

She is. They have her listed under the Guest Role (bottom).

So I was looking at the neck of the masked person and it doesn't resemble that of a female / empress unless its another plot twist... will be interesting when we get a face reveal 🤔

Guys - this drama is not for the faint at heart. there is angst every 5 minutes. this is a mystery, suspense thriller afterall. so be prepared... set the right expectations before entering

Agreed. I felt she needed to show some growth and maturity in her character. Afterall, it's 3 years of waiting. Even if her character is dominant, they should have let her show some affection and warmth towards him when he returned instead of being cold and keeping her emotions hidden.

Same, I teared up a lot for him during these episodes... he definitely underwent the most character growth. I wish Le Shan would have matured in this arc and tempered her nonstop dominering persona in front of him and showed some warmth/affection, otherwise it was hard to see why he still wanted to be with her in the end.

some background info: in the Princess Agents novel, the author described Yan Xun as having pearly white teeth and that was one of his attributes. the actor Shawn Dou showed more of his teeth in PA to authentically portray Yan Xun to the best of his ability. I love when actors pay attention to little details like this so they can more accurately represent their characters and do them justice...
