I need to be reminded constantly that FL's Cheating has always been Romanticized and Glorified!!!! Many movies! Many…
The phenomenon you're describing, although biased, as male infidelity is normal and to be expected because historically it has been anywhere from promoted behaviour to justified behaviour, people are more inclined to tolerate or even excuse the behaviour when the party that has been sacrificed by marriages throughout history finally does something entirely selfish. It's almost satisfying to see a female rejecting the sacrificial-lamb role they've been assigned by their biology/sociology. The same way people root for a little guy finally facing their bully and taking revenge.
A male cheating on their wife is not a revolutionary act. It is so normal that it cannot even be a tag. It would be like centering a tale around the fact that rain falls from above.

Ultimately, infidelity is the norm in all societies yet people still prefer to play along the falsehood of monogamy (which is possible but definitely not to be expected in the long term).
Throughout history, people have used many different words to name the phenomenon.

Monogamy is the abnormality as left to their own devices, humans do not practice monogamy. Males have been practicing violence against females they associate with in the hope that fear (of a man-god, ruining their children's future, physical pain, financial ruin, death, etc) will lead to monogamy from the woman's part.
It takes a particularly self-centred person to be in a relationship with someone that is absolutely miserable and not be bothered by it whatsoever. Usually those marriages in which one is in it for conveniency and the other cheats (or both), those marriages are the ones that lasted lifetimes and most people used them as examples of successful marriages.

I do not believe infidelity needs any justification. If it leads to the ending of the relationship, then so be it. One just turns a page and starts another chapter. Whether you love it or hate it, the reality of our species remains.

Another drama encouraging female infidelity, and of course it was written by a woman. I've never seen a romance…
Thank you.

Currently watching Beautiful Gong Shim and I just cannot express how refreshing it is to have a character such as Ahn Dan Tae. Rare occurrence where I absolutely love ML beyond his physical appearance in a romantic/comedy/drama Korean drama

Ok, great movie except for the last 10min. Unfortunately that ending ruined it for me. Blah.
That's the complete opposite for me.

I had never heard of any of the dramas on this list. Decided to give "Something about 1%" a go and I don't regret it. I finished it in no time. It was cute. I quite liked the dynamic. A nice change from the usual limpness in kdramas when it comes to the third wheel. I still don't get why illusory love triangles are even a thing.

Wait did she die in his arms at the hospital and all the last bit was dream before she dies, and he juts fulfilled…
The ending is the kind of open/hopeful endings...she lives on longer than expected and for as long as she is breathing, they are together. The take home message is, precisely that a possible tragic ending shouldn't stop anyone from enjoying what the have in the present.
I tired up writing this even tho I haven't watched this drama in a while...xD

Nothing I can say will do justice to this masterpiece. Just perfect. I cried. The kind of ugly/messy cry that cannot be taken care of with simple tissues. I had to take a shower to clean me up.
And the main song makes everything even better...ugh.
The two leads are absolutely magistral and my Sam Soon showed once again why she is the #1 in my heart.

The lead is so good with quirky/brutus females...makes me wonder how it would have been to have him play the lead male actor in Sam Soon.

I'm rambling but yeah. Scent of a Woman is a masterpiece.

Every single time she cries, I can feel it deep inside of me. Her sorrow moves me. I don't know why...I guess she is THAT good.
Secret should be on all Must-watch lists because it's absolutely perfect.
I absolutely love everything about this actress.
