ep 2 — i think my main issue is pacing... the drama should be like 20 minutes shorter or something. we barely put any time into putting together the evidence against march or even nana deliberating over it, but spend so much other time doing other things i don't really think is necessary. nana and vee's chemistry isn't very good either, i've been watching a few dramas now and usually when it comes to chemistry, i can say it's okay at worst, but it has the feeling of being forced a few times here. i hope if the two actresses are / become an official coupling, they are able to improve on that as time goes on. it is cringe but it would be a lot less cringe if they let certain plot points linger a bit more rather than focus on nana's swooning for wayyy too long. i get it! i think vee is pretty too! but it is kind of becoming the main selling point of her character and their relationship, when i feel like we have a lot more we could and should be focusing on. even vee and nana's conversations seem pretty lacklustre, when it should be easy for them to have natural and fun convos!

probably the only thing i didn't like from this last episode — i thought tokyo was close w her friends! at least, they were buddies. i didn't know they (at least, zai) used her! i think it would've had a bit more emotional heft if they kept them at least a bit close. it's understandable tokyo can't trust them because everyone in the town is under the kongpurim thumb, and i think that it is motivation enough for her friends to do what they need to do because of that. i don't like how suddenly we are getting information that they only use tokyo for money, it sort of came from nowhere. but that's kind of a nitpick, i just wish it was foreshadowed a bit better ig!

oh i've been WAITING SO BAD FOR THIS!!!! like tell me why i picked up romeo and juliet play to read just so i can bide my time with something so i can daydream about blue & tokyo. this episode was really good, i have no idea how they keep getting better and better ?!??!?!?!

hmm i have no issue with peem being toxic, i think the show just does a bad job at making her sudden change in demeanour feel like it makes any sense at all. but maybe i'm also just not into the whole insta-love thing lol. it just felt weird, i get peem is sort of triggered bc of past experiences i guess? but i find it a bit strange that parn was totally willing to sleep w her w no money involved and jbc she left idk... it just feels a bit strange that peem is suddenly acting this way when it's not super well established. i think it could've been done a bit better to make the toxicity at least a bit juicy, instead it feels a bit strange. i don't mind it tho, but it did feel out of nowhere and not very... deserved!
