I'm not sure why but LJDI and HC had some kind of friendship even when they are supposed to be enemies. I think…
In the novel, the heavenly emperor was even willing to let XJ destroy the whole heavenly kingdom because they wronged her, but she didn't in the end bc after 10 lifetimes her hatred faded. LJDI on the other hand did not go through 10 lifetimes so the original hatred still stands. HC was killed by LJDI who still had a vengeful spirit. HC actually felt some remorse so he also willingly died at the hand of LJDI in the end.

All the more that the benevolent heavenly emperor let hao chen pay for his sins for turning LJDI into the god of war. The heavenly realm let HC die for his sin if you're arguing why would HC die when he is the son of the heavenly emperor. HC is trash and the heavenly emperor is more reasonable. HC needs to bear the responsibility for his actions.
Remember LJDI is a very powerful being, the heavenly realm was on the verge of losing the war, so HC dying at the hands of LJDI is very reasonable.

whose's his dad? the heavenly emperor? I don't think that's his dad and beside HC was selfish and commit such a sin to end the war, HC deserved death even the heavenly emperor thought so.

Ahh, okay I was wondering which scene you were refering to. Not sure if that is the scene, but yes in the novel they both die together bc LJDI wanted revenge for what HC did to him.

I'm not sure why but LJDI and HC had some kind of friendship even when they are supposed to be enemies. I think that scene that you pointed out was when they were drinking and HC poisoned LJDI to take him back to the heavenly realm to turn him into a deity(=god of war) so LJDI can kill his own kind so the heavenly realm can win the war. This is the plot from the novel so it seems like the drama kept this plot point.
XJ is literally the victim of constant emotional abuse and manipulation (in her past life and current), she isn’t…
agreed, right now I think she is still letting her anger at sifeng's father killing her mother get the best of her to think clearly. a lot of things are happening that is clouding her judgements. at the end of ep44 xuanji still have trusts in sifeng and doubts that he truly turned on her that's why HC was yelling at her. The bastard HC was trying to get her to choose him(HC her "predestined fate") over SiFeng. I can't wait for mortal HC to die already.
epi 27 we all saw the death of sifeng in the 9 lifetimes, but I kind of want to see what happens to xuanji after he died all 9 times. Does anyone else think the drama will show what happens to xuanji after his 9 tragic deaths? edit: I meant I want to see what happen to XJ in each lifetime after SF died
Hai everyone. This grup is the most lively and lovely grup discussion ever. I got addicted to come here everyday…
I honestly like it here so much, hehehe. There are a few times I haven't been on here and the discussion moves so fast that it gets so hard to catch up on some things. I'll probably check out for a while so I can catch up on the recent releases.
I just finished episode 39. It seems there are 2 versions of her death. According to Sifeng's father, her original…
In the novel, SF's father kidnapped SF's mother, but she never loved him. SF's mother escape but committed suicide bc of shame/everyone was talking about her. The old old Lize Palace leader altered SF's father memory to make him believe that SF's mother loved him so his lover's curse didn't attack him

the version of the deputy sect leader is the correct version. SF mother could not accept the fact that his father is from the demon bird tribe hence his father still actually has his lover curse, which killed him in that scene. I think SF father took something so alter his memory which was why his lover curse didn't kill him until he was remembered the real account.
I am also so done, I shed too many tears. YuXi was so well chosen, when she cries, my heart hurts so much. She…
just all the crying this drama made me do takes a toll on me for the rest of the day. Without the subs it's so heart wrenching so I'm kind of dreading reading the viet subs for it (I'm still stuck at ep28 bc I know I have to read the scenes with HC). T-T
