Haven't finished watching it but it's really good so far. Ive only finished ep 8 just then but I wanted to say I love women... men are just so headache (might change later) spoiler alert: I'm mainly talking about YOU Win and Suea ugh For me at the moment, Mo has really pulled through as a character like at first I didnt like her or think I would later but shes become really cool, dependable and independent and i like that she isnt taking the shit Win is throwing at her. Faye and the Yok are really good friends as well
I hope I don't come off the wrong way as I'm happy to discuss!
In my opinion, just because something isn't free doesn't mean it can't be good or that its less loveable. I like Strongberry because they often make quite good LGBTQ+ films. Don't get me wrong, I definitely have not seen all of their productions but the ones I have seen, I've enjoyed.
Since they're a small independent company, there is usually a small price to pay if you want to stream their content. You can rent it or buy it for good - similar to some other streaming services. This will likely be supporting the team and their future projects. I would think its also because LGBTQ+ films aren't really your typical mainstream watch so that by itself already cuts down some expected profit (if any). Less money can mean that production is sometimes compromised or that the cost of production is too much and they wouldn't be able to film.
I totally understand that money isn't always readily available for some so you can always try find another streaming site (which there are usually a few eg. there are many posted below in the comments) however if you can, supporting the artists is always nice as well as it encourages them to keep making more productions.
EDIT: I scrolled down to look at comments and this was one written by strongberry. "I'd appreciate it if you could use the official purchase site. All of the movie purchase costs that come through the official purchase site will be used for the production of our next movie. We will not involve you in finding and watching our free movie. However, the free movies were distributed without our permission. It doesn't help us at all."
I can understand how people might not have liked it but I still thought it was entertaining??? Especially Sol/Jiwan plot. I would like a series or a movie just for them pls T-T Also potato boy deserves the world.
Okay but Kang Hyeon deserved better :( Plot twist was kinda predictable... both the dad being the killer and the teacher being the person who killed Jiwon, but it wasn't a bad watch and was relatively short as well.
yikes I wanted to watch this bc its a wlw movie from Asia so I was excited because we don't get fed often but after reading the comments I think it might be a skip for me...
Quick question: I'd left this series at episode 4 since I had more series to end before this one. Should I continue…
Its not for everyone but if you liked up to ep 4, I would continue! It's only 4 more eps (around 4 hours left). If you don't have super high expectations I think you might enjoy, but if you're expecting it to be really great and logical, I would probably pass on it. :)
I'm not going to lie, it was a meme. I think if I had huge expectations I would have been disappointed but since I watched it without any, I thought it wasn't bad. Technically could've used another episode or two to better explain some stuff and tie up loose ends. Aside from that it was kinda funny lol
I just wanted to say I cried last night when I was scrolling through his instagram (and Max's). His support for the LGBTQ+ community means a lot to me, and I'm sure it means a lot to others as well.
just bc I cant stop thinking about this movie,, I gave a higher rating. It left an impression XD also I liked…
to elaborate, Im glad the ML was human and it actually showed unlike some other stuff where people seem to be immune and magically alive and okay after every attack lmao (not that theres anything wrong with that)
I saw a big tattoo on someone on netflix and I was like ok I guess I will watch this (instead of watching stuff…
