Yea, I kinda like things being wrapped up after one season, a whole story from beginning to end, I dislike having…
I agree 100%. I don't like many American dramas due to their inability to end (ex. Grey's Anatomy). A common example of a second season I didn't quite like was Age Of Youth. They basically swapped out my favorite character- the main lead and replaced her with a 'lookalike', similar to that of soap operas here in the US. I feel like it's blatant disrespect to the original story many fell in love with. It goes with this drama too. Since the main male lead is enlisting, they would have to recast a beloved character. Just because people want a second season, doesn't mean that you have to go to extremes to produce it. Some stories should just... end.

Iam starting to think big mouse is a myth maybe he doesn't even exist but to get away with all those wrong doings…
since the beginning of chang ho's time in that prison, it is explicitly shown how word of mouth goes rampant and everyone knows something in a matter of prob less than an hour. just like a high school, rumors in a small place with a lot of people travel fast
tbh i think it's the mayor. might just be from his body language. from chang ho's weak and fragile demeanor and time dealing with cases he barely won, it doesn't add up that he's big mouse. he would've been more confident, less of a weakling, and known how to underhand shit.
you can see his first day in jail that he barely knew how to handle scary men around him. i think- in a psychological way - chang ho is taking on the personification of big mouse and it is getting to his head.
since the mayor was the one who recruited him in the first place, and has the access of a lot more people than chang ho, it is honestly plausible that he is behind all of this. like he literally said- chang ho is too stupid to be behind this. but now that he has this 'nothing can hurt me' mentality and is playing a character to an extreme, he's slowly starting to mentally believe he can fake it til the end.
another reason i think it's him is that the mayor could've easily spotted out his office beforehand and hid all the money, gold, etc. whoever big mouse is, they probably got access to the office and did it to frame chang ho. they could've easily taken down walls, hid stuff, and re-plastered it on a random weekend afternoon.
while ji hoon is losing his mind because he's honestly quite stupid and gullible, the mayor is getting away with mind games with mi ho. it's most likely to get her to stop looking into the paper, and big mouse altogether- for her safety, etc. better to get her out of the picture, than give her the truth.
i also think the mayor is secretly going behind the scenes- since he's an outsider and trusted by the the higher ups. all i can tell is that someone is doing this without anyone knowing, and further proving that chang ho is big mouse without even him trying. he's likely going power hungry and crazy due to all of these 'coincidences'.
i honestly didn't even suspect jerry from all of this. i honestly just thought it was an easy theory since he is named after a mouse. i personally think he's too harmless, like chang ho. if he was someone undercover, we'd have more of a speculation- like how there was an undercover cop in squid game, and there was an element of obviousness.
anyway... here is my theory as a writer 🤷🏻♀️ i might be missing something LOL
That's because for Luke's part he is for real american
This boy is so confusing. I'm more knowledgable in the Kdrama world, and I know its hella hard to get the type of citizenship in order to appear on camera. Don't know the official lingo. Many have different english accents from other countries, so it's a harsh reality when I hear my own accent in Thai dramas 😂😂
please don't laugh at me but I swore it was Shitting Stars for like a couple weeks and now I realized the ** weren't to blur out a cuss word, and it's Shooting Stars... I-
Some people are talking about season 2. Is it even possible ?
It's practically impossible for a Season 2 in KDrama world... especially with something like this with so many characters.
Usually if there is a Season 2- they make vast changes in cast, or different writers come aboard- making things confusing. Sometimes- the Season 2 is completely different storyline with completely different characters. It all depends.
I've been through it with many dramas I've loved- odds are- they aren't. Maybe Hotstar will push another one but I'm personally doubting it.
It might be the fact i'm recovering from a fever bc of my covid booster, but the scene where young-ro's friends degrade her bc they find out her father is the ANSP director....
like y'all maybe it was the bullying trauma of hs, but i was crying like a baby. like they didn't even take time to listen to her side of the story. from experience- it's soul crushing, and one of the most painful feelings one could go through.
