America keeps trying to steal Korean classics to make as their own, and now I see it with Chinese/ Taiwanese classics in Korea. Don't understand why they think remaking something this beautiful could make it better? There's just so many aspects that make the original so touching and heartfelt.
I love this drama. I really loved this drama. Each character (even the father) gave me such a deep impression. The only little tweak I had with the ending was how they only shortly referenced how they all were 'in a movie' that Ji Woo briefly spoke about in the first episode (?). Like I wished they would be like cross-referencing them throughout to make it make more sense in the final moments of the drama.
Other than that, I love Young Hwa. I love him so much, he is my baby and I will NEVER love another character like I love him. Never. He's my baby boy. Anyway. I loved this drama.
This drama had very funny parts and lovable characters, but the ending was kinda... a mess? It felt very forced. Seojun would've made Joo Kyung very happy, and is one of the sweetest 'bad boy' characters I have witnessed in my countless school kdramas.
What's up with Korean dramas this half-year? I don't remember one of them (from June till now) being consistent…
Something tells me COVID is screwing up production schedules and places to film. It's not complete chaos like America, but I know every country is struggling in one way or another with the virus.
Even though I hate the main couple, Young Hee's storyline has such good acting for the poor writing seen everywhere else in the drama. If anything, watch it for her. Never saw anyone cry like that in a drama before- A+ acting in my book!
I am so confused by the child? Like I thought it was Sook Kyung's child- like maybe she got together with someone else bc she isn't that old?? But it was Ha Young's?! What?! What was with Dr. Cha getting back with his ex- wife as well? Didn't they have no commonalities between them? I'm so lost.
Hye Joon's mother reminds me of my own mother. There are so many similarities even though they are two different ethnicities and cultures. Character can really transcend all of that.
I got a couple episodes into hotel del Luna and I just couldn’t do it... I love IU, she’s adorable. I just hate indecisive characters. Pick a side already!
