Even though the Korean word bbang (빵) is often translated to bread, I believe it's like an umbrella term that covers a wide range of baked* goods that goes beyond the typical bread we think of, including various dough-based things and also cakes and pastries like you said. You can be more precise and say "cake" or "sandwich bbang" or "croissant" or whatever, and they'll use the English/original language words, but then it's all still bbang.

But like, if you find the age gap between IU and Eunhyuk troubling, as the older adult in the relationship, Eunhyuk should be the one getting flak for that.

I think S2 takes place after, but at about the same time as the original series, whereas Tomb of the Sea is many years later.

I think they do leave some space so they can extend if it's doing well or cut it if it's not. But since they finished filming awhile ago, hopefully the resolution is still done well.
