Another detail I have noticed is the main couple aren't shy when a third party shows up/present (i.e., Nianju/Snake). Usually in dramas, a scene as such, especially when the couple are just starting their relationship or even in marriage, they stop themselves or pull away but no, it's different (yet a breath of freshness!) to see that they continue their PDA/lovey dovey talks. I don't remember the episode but the main couple were having a conversation before heading out for a mission and held one another & Nianju is just standing there (not making it awkward) -- lowering his gaze naturally -- was a nice touch. ✨
This drama is out of this universe! 🎇 No hate when I say this but I dropped all the other dramas I was watching. SJ & LTY's precious moments have my heart. 😭💞

Being a huge fan of Arthur's since Ever Night, he has improved a whole lot! Love the smirks he gives out to the FL & his tear(s) delivery is on point! 💙
I love the sarcastic yet witty remarks SJ gives to LTY throughout the series. 💞 There's a hint of affection hidden in some of them. One of my favorite lines so far is from episode 9:
"If sleeping could raise your realm, you'd be dominating the Gengchen Celestial Palace." 🦦
I'm only on episode 9 - thinking of dropping it. ML's acting is amazing but the FL can't act, especially when delivering the emotional que. Someone, please, tell me it gets better?
