was extremely disappointed in this show. While I had high hopes going in, it quickly became clear that My Generation sends a harmful and outdated message — especially to younger viewers.
The portrayal of the female lead constantly chasing after a man who shows little to no interest was frustrating and, frankly, embarrassing. It reinforces the idea that a woman's worth is tied to male validation, which is not only untrue but damaging. Young girls need to see strong, independent characters who understand that there's more to life than pursuing someone who is clearly not reciprocating.
In 2025, we should be promoting self-respect, ambition, and emotional maturity — not desperation masked as romance. Disappointing and out of touch.
