I just rewatched the episodes and was finally able to focus on stuff other than just the romantic aspects lol.

I guess, judging by A Lie's reaction to the chemist talking about the two pharmaceutical companies, it's safe to assume A Lie himself is working for the opposing one, right? Everything the guy said fits because we already have the impression A Lie's organization treats him like a tool.

It'll be interesting to see what consequences his "misbehavior" will have for him...

Fun fact, it's possible to love something and still be able to engage with it criticallly. I love this show but it's because of the acting and chemistry and plot, and DESPITE of the AI. Mindless consumption of AI content is the real polluting.

This had some great potential but for me personally it only went downhill since the first couple of episodes. Weak plot and characters. Bad writing - for the most part. Lack of authentic feeling. But I can't say anything bad about the chemistry between the leads... that's what kept me watching.

AI is clearly not a dealbreaker for a lot of people. Hell, I'm watching the show myself. But the lack of critical thinking is just difficult for me to understand. There's a difference between wanting to watch something without wanting to engage too critically and just straight up utterly mindless consumption. "Oh, I like the premise and acting, so I don't mind the AI." OK but wouldn't it have been better without AI? Aren't you at all worried about why they felt the need to use it? Why are we lowering our standards???

If you don't mind, that's fine, I guess. But I find it worrying how many people seem to easily accept it as just a matter of a small budget without being even the slightest bit critical.

Do we really want to live in a world where art is artificially produced? I'm enjoying this series but I'm afraid it represents a gateway for "cheaper" and "easier" productions that lacks the authenticity that comes from human creation. What a sad road we're heading down.
