I can't believe I have eagerly awaited this series for years, been disappointed by countless delays and lack of promotion, and now that it's finally here I don't really feel like watching it.
I still want to watch it some day but putting it off for now.
Second of all, with the way things are moving so quickly (I saw the preview for episode 5), I'm genuinely worried that the 12 episodes listed here is a mistake. My worst nightmare is it turns out to actually be, like, 6 episodes (in typical Japanese bl fashion). Does anyone have any source on the actual number of episodes?
Can someone give me a spoiler about what Ryo was texting someone about a meeting in a hotel (i think ending ep2).…
I think it was just his college roommate, about that party both Ryo and Zen attended in episode 3. So completely innocent but they probably ended the episode that way for dramatic effect.
I see some people in the comments spreading the "agenda" that the actors have confirmed season 2 is happening. I wish you wouldn't do that as it might bring false hope, and nothing has in fact been OFFICIALLY confirmed.
As much as the actors want it, that's not confirmation. I saw the clip and I think what they're saying (at least the translation) is very ambiguous. Firstly, nuances get lost in translation. Secondly, I personally interpreted what they were saying as their hopes for season 2 IF it happens, not WHEN.
I wish you all would stop spreading these fake news until you can provide REAL confirmation from higher up, e.g. the production team or the network. Thank you!!
If it’s popular and they can get funding then there will be a second season. But I don’t see people talking…
That's a relief. I'm not on Tiktok but I think the show seems very loved and talked about on other social media. ALTHOUGH it's not as popular (yet) as Revenged Love
And man, Ryo loves and respects Zen SO much 😭 I'm actually really moved by it. I love how it's giving soulmates but not in that lame "they were randomly fated" way. At least there's a deeper reason for their connection and there is obviously so much thought behind and depth to Ryo's feelings, way beyond just desire.
Three episodes of this show is a whole season on most others. This progression is usually only seen by episode…
@Rholindown I was thinking the same thing! And I'm saying this as someone who usually loves a slow-burn. But I sure ain't hating this kind of development either, it makes it less predictable to me how the rest of the story will go.
HOLY GUACAMOLE THEY DID OMG!!! BEST DAY EVERbut on serious note this means they can take their sweet time because…
@leonnq I LOVE My Personal Weatherman. I didn't read the source material, are you saying there was material for a lot of additional episodes? I would have loved that 😭 Or they didn't have enough time to make the scenes like in the manga?

@leonnq And for a Japanese bl I think this amount of episodes is quite rare! Usually it's like 6 or 8 at the most. But yes, it would be nice to have it confirmed from an additional source.
The journey we have been on since this show was first announced is just wild.
From the very beginning there was always doubt about whether it was romance or bromance.
Now, after what feels like 73 years, we FINALLY have a full trailer and there is STILL that same discussion. We know it's about gay characters but are still not convinced it's actually romance. So I guess it'll remain a mystery until we actually watch the show.
Personally I only got bromance vibes from the trailer, maybe unrequited love. But I would LOVE to be proven wrong.
10 episodes still seem like a lot considering how fast the plot is moving. But I haven't read the manga so I hope I'm wrong!
