Sometimes I'll just be going about my day and it'll hit me again out of nowhere that ShSe is actually canon. That we actually live in a universe in which ShSe were canonically each other's first love. And life suddenly feels beautiful.

Those scenes when it's just Lin Zei and A Lie together in a dark room are the most powerful. Simple, no "action" or zombies, just a lot emotionally at stake. These are the moments the actors really get to shine and I'm reminded that it's not just their chemistry that works, the acting is genuinely great.

I loved when Lin Zei was like "Sometimes I even forget A Lie kidnapped me" because like damn son, I tend to forget that as well. I catch myself sitting there like, how dare this or that person get in the way of A Lie's beautiful and completely innocent love for Lin Zei.

It for real didn't even occur to me until my 10th rewatch of the love scene that we never actually see them take their pants off. Usually a continuity error like that would seriously annoy me but I love this scene so much I don't even care. I can easily look past it. Obviously with how hungry A Lie was, he managed to take off both of their pants at the speed of light, invisible to the naked eye. Sorted.
