dk if i missed the explanation but why did the OG jin priestess keep her soul alive in the ice stone instead of destroying the ice stone years ago? if it's because she predicted that a catastrophe will happen in the future, so she kept her soul alive hoping one day to come out and stop the catastrophe, that wont make much sense since the catastrophe is brought about by the ice stone. destroying it would've prevented everything.
i feel like they just introduced the plot point that jin bu yeon is actually just the OG jin prietess just so they can get her to yeet herself out of jin bu yeon's body and give it to naksu's soul. lol. and also to justify that naksu didnt "steal" the body since it was jin bu yeon's "plan" all along so she feels more like a moral protagonist? weird choice because one of naksu's key characteristic was her moral ambiguity

also what happened to the ice stone in the end? its still inside jang uk? whats gonna happen when he dies? human greed knows no end so the world gonna be facing another crisis soon why a new jin mu emerges?

Scheduling a Tv series comes with availability in Time slots which also depends on the Age ratings. It seems,…
The show is long enough, some parts were really dragged out and some were too fast to the point it felt sweeping. I think the episodes were just under untilised.

At first it was people coming on others because they were hating on fl and that was right cause you should not…
It’s ok those who were disappointed can have our own “loner jang uk against the world” moment.

Also, maidservant Kim's "death" felt so unnecessary and dumb. Why did she decide to die in Jinyowon when she had…
Hee death and why she chose to stay in the cave was fine, I just thought it was dumb to “revive” the characters who died. Even naksu’s soul coming back at the end feels like a forced happy ending

U said it so yourself, romance. Hence, part 2 is needed for the romance. And it did not disappoint.
Yeah I liked the last 10 minutes and how things ended.

Yes i was disappointed by ep 9&10 mostly. I even stayed up to watch mosf of the drama and tried to squeeze in some viewing time during work. I’m still angry w 9&10 loool. Would’ve rated this show 8.5 if it was not for the last two eps.

Although the first few episodes felt like a fanfic love story written by a fan who got her heartbroken by season 1’s ending, it was actually entertaining. While it was quite annoying that in the first half they barely explained the shit that went down in the last ep of part 1 and that other than the romance nothing much else was going on, I was actually entertained and stayed up to watch this show. Or well, that was at least until ep 9 - where the “plot” really picked up and ALSO WENT TO SHIT in my opinion. So many plot holes in in ep 9&10 I can’t even. I’m sorry but watching ep 10 actually made me mad. There’s a fine line between a complex plot and a messy plot, and for me 9&10 was just messy and ruined the whole season for me. Any “plot twist” introduced in the last two eps just undermined any logic thjs show had, and this show barely had any in the first place, but I let pass cos for the most part it’s quite entertaining. In the beginning I was lamenting the lack of actual plot, but grew to accept and like part 2 as a full on romance drama, and when the plot finally picked up I couldnt wait for it to just end. I’m sorry but any “plot twist” just felt like an afterthought to justify why part 2 was even needed in the first place.

Jin Mu is a bastard child that grew up as an outcast in Jinyowon. He craves power to prove he is worthy. But he…
In this part it felt like he was the main villain from his screen time but when I look at the things he’s done were quite irrelevant and the plot would’ve moved just fine without him. Sometimes I just don’t get his motive or how he sets out to achieve them at all lol. Maybe because there’s a dissonance in how much we know about Jin mu vs how much the characters know about him. Like we alr know he’s the one pulling the strings but the characters can only suspect that

i dont think common sense is needed when you are watching a fantasy and supernatural kind of drama ... you just…
No in fantasy u need to CONVINCE the viewers to accept the flow of events as common sense, which I feel sometimes this show failed to do. There were some frustrating parts but overall it’s not too bad

Overall I think this show was just a tad bit too long. I like the concept but it felt a bit draggy at some parts. The show also uses “magic” as justification for things that don’t make sense wayyy too much, once or twice I’d understand since it’s the basis of the show but every time they need to move the plot forward they just use new “magic” as the magical plot twist. jin moo is just one big plot hole to me nothing about him makes sense. Plot would’ve moved just fine with the other villains and characters, who’s actions are understandable and logical. Everything else was good, even the cause of all the chaos who only appears in the first and last few eps lol iykyk.

I understood all of the characters motivations but wtf is up with Jin moo?? I just finished part 1 and idk if it’s because I didn’t pay attention but I don’t know what his motivations are AT ALL?? Is it power? Is it revenge? Revenge on who? Who wronged him?? The entire world probably from his perspective. He’s the supposed plot mover but the plots he’s involved in are also full of wholes. In fact I think the show would’ve moved on just fine without him. Why does he need the crown prince? What is he trying to gain? Will my questions be answered in part 2? Why is he so hell bent on getting rid of Jang uk? Literally the only person that gave him any attention was his father Jang gang?? To me jin moo is just one big plot hole. I’m sorry but why would anyone buy any of the shit he’s spitting out of his mouth after all the shits he’s pulled?
