hated xianxia in the past but now im on a xianxia binge!! (my third one in just 2 weeks)
at ep 8 and so far it's been quite entertaining! usually it takes me about 15 ep to start gaining interest in xianxia dramas but this has been decent from the get go
im at ep 35 and so far i prefer their love story in TMOPB even though they didnt really have a happy ending there.…
finally finished this! still prefer their story in TMOPB but i guess dijun is more enjoyable and entertaining here. overall two very different stories even though its about the same characters.
mortal realm was draggy and really didnt add much to the plot but we got to enjoy ye qingti. handkerchief and fanying valley arc was the best, soooo entertaining with likable characters. aranya's dream got kind of really loooong and draggy. the whole misunderstanding at the end was kind of dumb too
also can't help but feel this show has a few annoying and unnecessary characters (JIHENG AND AND DIJUN's SISTER AHEM AHEM and prince chang hahhaha) but the friends of the leads were enjoyable and entertaining!! also am i the only one who thinks that xiao yan shouldnt have ended up with jiheng??? they had 0 chemistry together and xiao yan deserves so much better. the princess of the bird tribe and xiao yan would have been a better option
need to sit through a few boring eps in the beginning (and by few i mean 20) but would still recommend this to anyone who watched TMOPB and liked their story there. ELOD gives them some closure

i agree, i think she was a real weak villain because yehua sees right through her (usually villains get their power from deception but the ML wasnt buying it lol). she's weak that's why she could only pick on susu who was a helpless human. oh well, at least it was satisfying to see bai qian get her revenge... sujin was so weak baiqian barely had to bother with her LOL

couldnt really get into the first few eps of the drama. i honestly thought it was the most boring drama EVER in the first few eps. stopped for a while but went back to this because i had nothing to watch. somehow got to ep 10+ and from then on, i was HOOKED. this was some popcorn inhaling stuff. the plot moves like the bullet train from around ep 15 onwards. wasnt 100% convinced by the romance in the story but it didnt really bother me much this show was still entertaining. the second couple was great too.
fyi i HATE cgi in chinese dramas but this was so entertaining i couldnt care less about the weird cgi
if anyone is also having a hard time getting pass the first eps just like i did, i would recommend you to stick through this because ITS WORH IT
it's been a fun ride, thanks everyone :) this comment section made the drama 10 time better and it helped me get through a lot of frustrating scenes! the show kind of lost its spark in the last few episodes but they were tolerable because of MDL. you guys are the best
also i avoided watching Eternal Love just because of the title (i like Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms much better)
