yes. ling told his parents that she understands if they can't accept her into the family. so it probably has to do with her illness. not sure about the parents objecting them since they didnt say anything in the preview. but in today's episode non said that his parents are extremely happy that they are getting married.
So Paeng is indeed pretending, so that she could trap Mark the creep
in this episode it actually seems like she isnt pretending but genuinely meeting him for leads on the tattoo. but in the next episode it seems likely that she goes into his room to find evidence or confirm her suspicions
