I agree with u about how arthit treats his employees i thought no one noticed that
yes honestly this is usually what you will see in almost all lakorns with workers/employees and i really really reallllyyyyyy wish it would change. kinda sad to see how poor people are treated as second rate characters to provide entertainment in the form of threats of retrenchment in shows since most of the thai population are middle/working class.
Can u pls tell us the highlights of the today's episode..most of the ppl r yet to watch it cz of unavailability…
MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD PLS DONT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE SPOILED.
more bullying from arthit but this episode paeng does not just tolerate. she retaliates and in turn arthit retaliates her retaliation. arthit lowkey obsessed with her following her EVERYWHERE to demean and bully her.
one key point was that the two of them fought over manpower - arthit doesnt want his workers to help out with paeng's rose plantation project. this manifested in arthit not paying the workers who helped out with paeng's project. paeng then pays the people who helped her instead. paeng also buys some cool farming technology, much to arthit's displeasure. in this episode paeng seems to be winning the workers over with her antics (they no longer bitch about her). Ultimately, arthit demeans paeng and says she's childish for using money to solve all her problems and that she is nothing without money. he proceeds to confiscate her atm and credit cards. (WOW)
another key point was paeng and arthit at the temple to pray for her parent's death aniversary. paeng asks the monk if her contributions/donations/prayers (?) will help to reduce the gravity of a grave sin. someone was also playing fire crackers which sounds like a gun shot, triggering her ptsd so she faints. arthit is real nice to her here and keeps thinking about what she told the monk and her fainting episode. he asked her mother what grave sins one could commit and his mum (very conveniently) suggests committing murder or suicide. arthit ponders on this and the fainting episode until the end of the episode

literally the only people who are nice to the employees in the show are Paeng and arthit's father. even so paeng was a bit preachy when she advised the workers against buying lottery in the last part of the latest ep. its not only arthit but i think the way the script addresses the poor people in the show is a bit problematic.
all the excuses he comes up with just to be near her. p'arthit are you sure you didn't major in drama instead of architecture?
