this drama has a lot of cameos so its "connected" to many drama universes hahaha. but thats all they are, fun little cameos

yes i totally agree with you, wouldve enjoyed it more if it leaned towards "slice of life" rather than whatever crazy makjang tropes they have been adding. the drama does very well in executing sad and melodramatic scenes. the main leads are very good at crying so i wanted to see them cry more in genuine heartfelt scenes, NOT at dramatic makjang "plot twists"

She’s gonna do the exact same thing cos she’s done this in all of her dramas and they’ve been smash hits. But I hope she reads that people are now criticising her writing and improve.

Great strategy for receiving death threats

Makjang is a genre of drama that has super outrageous and outlandish plots ON purpose and they tend to be crazy addictive. Some examples: penthouse, sky castle

Key plot points: cheating, death, death and coming back to life, twins, accident, murder, corruption, framing, black mailing, babies switched at birth. Abrupt plot twists, basically any thing under the sun that u could think of (or even could never think of)

Also after the press conference I thought whole of Korean SNS knew they got back tgt since hyunwoo was labelled the simp that got back with his ex wife?? LOOL

Bet even park sung Hoon did not expect his character to still be alive in ep 16 LOOOL

Probably gonna have a happy ending cos if hyunwoo dies even after all of the shitty shit that’s been happening, people are really gonna go after the writer LMAO

Yeah aside from that it’s a decent show. But the writer is pulling at all stops for the villain and it’s creating so many plot holes

they felt so much pressure from the bad script so they worked so hard and gave us great directing and acting LOL

For the crazy god level acting (esp in melodrama scenes), maybe not so much for the plot, at least for me

Now that I think about it her dramas have always had mid writing, she’s just been relying on her super famous main leads to carry her stories. At least she’s been lucky cos all of them CAN REALLY ACT. Her writing is formulaic and predictable. Aside from producer, everything from My love from the Star, legend of blue sea and CLOY has always had a psycho villain hell bent on ruining things for the main characters for almost no reason
