The show makes me feel conflicted. The overall plot and flow are mediocre, but somehow each scene has good dialogue and is super entertaining to watch. In particular the sad and emotional scenes were very well written and directed. Of course the casts are hard carrying also with the acting. Macro plot bad, but on the micro level it’s so good?

Now that I’ve calmed down let me give a better review of ep 14. The emotional scenes were SO WELL DONE. Acting is really top notch. I loved the family zoom call and the church scene, those really made me cry.
Of course like many the ending infuriated me and I honestly think it’s so unnecessary. But at least I like that the writer made eun song a consistently shitty character, and has not tried to “redeem” him by having his sacrifice himself for hyein or some bs.
Based on the preview at least ep 15 will mostly be focused on business plot. I’m dreading having to sit through the super predictable business plot tbh.
I watched this show to cry and although the show will most likely have a happy ending, there are still many opportunities for sad scenes that will pull our heartstrings. This is what I’m looking forward to the most.
