Starting with a bang and fizzling with a fart is such a perfect way to describe this. I’m disappointed in how this turned out too

Too lazy to watch the last two eps so I’m dropping at ep 10. Overall very fun first 6 ep, it’s the only romcom I actually liked in years. However it only went down hill from there, it got too serious, overly dramatic. Overall felt like the writers didn’t know what they were doing or writing becos honestly from ep 7 it was just nonsense and manufactured conflict. The difference is too stark considering the first half was very light and unserious. The leads had chemistry in the first half but that just all went away after ep 7, dk why. They were the highlight of the show but their interactions got too boring and they got too melodramatic for a couple that went on ONE literal date for ONE DAY. Do Han and ah jung were also weird, for best friends of 15 years, they barely felt like friends at some point. The brother duo was also weird. ji Han had a weird obsession with his brother, says he can do anything for his brother but his actions have proven otherwise. The “loving” bros didn’t feel loving, which is weird considering they only had each other growing up, and perhaps they should have more brotherly love for each other?

Anyway fun start. Boring and messy second half that made little sense. The first 6 eps are worth watching, but be prepared to see it get worse and boring. 8.5 for first half and 4.0 points for the second half. Overall I’d rate it 6.5

True, they might have a different perspective. To me the quality between the first and second half is too stark honestly hahaha

It’s a Korean television show let’s be real it was never gonna have a gay side plot, from the start the fact that the brother is gay is just used as a plot set up for the romance of the FL and ML.

Haha I share the same sentiments, it was so fun in the first half and it’s just so bad now honestly, I’m dreading it cos idw to be bored while watching and honestly I tend to drop the show the moment I dread watching it. But like u say there’s just 2 EPS more and then at least I can objectively rate the drama (not a high rating for sure bcos of the nonsensical second half)

It’s true our opinions hold no weight, cos kdrama writers will never see them. But it’s just fun discussing with others who watched the drama hahahaha. Also ranting to air frustrations with the drama helps, even if the writers aren’t reading my comments, a fellow watcher is reading it you know?

I totally agree with this. I feel like their “romance” was never that serious in the first place, so the conflicts in the recent eps feel a bit contrived and unconvincing

Honestly I don’t think the comments are even that bad, the people who are commenting genuinely thought the first half was entertaining, then the show went to complete shit after that which it did. I can kinda understand the frustration?? Also most commented their opinions after watching the latest ep. Sometimes i don’t get people who ask others to not comment “bad things” about the drama? Is this not a drama forum and review site where we share and discuss what we think of the show??

Honestly I was alr dreading the drama after watching ep 9&10 cos they were so boring and made little sense. based on the shit storm that is in the comments, ep 11 is even more nonsensical and boring. Should I drop or continue

The first variety show I watched in a few years. I thought it was boring at first but it grew on me when their labour started to bear fruit!! It was really entertaining and fulfilling watching them pick their produce, cook and eat them. (Low key it turned into a cooking and mukbang show in the second half) Their interactions within the friend group and with the villagers was also really fun to watch. The guests were nice additions since they were just all friends.

Why and how is kyungsoo just casually just catching a damn snake with his hands in ep 1 LOOL

Morality and selfishness of characters aside, this show has just gotten so boring and bland. Since when were ah jung and jihan so in love? It’s third rate romance at best so I’m so puzzled by all this manufactured drama in the last two eps lol. I feel like it was never that serious, but ah jung and jihan are treating this like some forbidden romance of the century. And now their interactions are also so boring, where’s the chemistry that was so good in the first few eps??

In the beginning I thought they had good chemistry but now at ep 10 it’s abysmal

I’ve been enjoying this show but the the last two episodes have polarised me… nothing make much sense, it’s messy (of course it’s messy), but idk why certain characters are even mad or not mad or why mad at certain things and not others. Anyway the last two eps were a chore to get through and I’m frankly not finding the show to be that enjoyable. Everything that was fun about the show is gone, ji han and ah jung are now so boring together

This show is proof that you don’t need a fancy A list ensemble cast for a show to be good. The casting was perfect and so was their performance

Baek ha rin totally deserves to be abandoned and forgotten BUT I hate how her shitty adoptive family got let off the hook so easily??? That entire family is full of questionable bs, and Baek Harin was still a victim in this family, even if she’s the perpetrator at school.
