I enjoyed it for the plot. The only popular actor here is Lee Dong Wook so idk if people are just rating it highly because of the cast. It starts making more sense around mid point when they unraveling enough of the backstory. The first few eps is heavy on action so if dont think you have the patience to sit through that then you can skip this one.

It’s not that I don’t like their relationship, but indeed i don’t feel invested in it. Usually also not a fan of love at first sight type of show (which for the ML was I guess?). I’m sure there’ll be more plot later from your description but I barely have the patience to finish ep 5 😭 this type of romance is just not for me so im stopping here haha

I watched this as a break from back to back thrillers but it’s really giving me nothing and feels almost like torture. I think this type of romance is just not for me. 😭 It’s not cringy or anything but there’s just not much at all

How does he even afford all these meals they are having? How is he affording all these taxi rides? 💀I thought he was a poor struggling student tf. I wanted to tough it out for wu lei but I just can’t watch this type of romance drama haha. Also the fact that there’s literally a whole village of Chinese ppl in the drama in the middle of Northern Europe just takes me out

Anyone can see he’s not interested any so indeed it might be him preparing for the loveless marriage. In fact after the SFL confessed to him he seems to begin to understand why the brother was so against marrying the SFL

Errr at this point why do you even bother watching if it’s going against your sense of morality haha. The show is literally marketed this way from the trailer? Like from the start it’s literally about the ML preventing the marriage using whatever way possible? And one of the ways was to steal the FL from the brother. It’s a fked up concept that established from the start, but the show tries to make it morally ambiguous by making the brother gay and their marriage a sham marriage. This way viewers won’t feel so morally conflicted, and in fact only the ML will. But even with this you are feeling morally conflicted and it bothers you to the point it afffects your enjoyment, maybe stop?

Honestly I think at first she just didn’t give an f about him. To her the marriage isn’t real so why would she care if he’s opposed to her. In general she’s someone who doesn’t give a shit about what people say about her. Also since he’s do han’s brother she’s just accommodating to his whims. She of course got angry when he took things too far. In the process they also had many interactions and she started to feel sympathetic towards him.
