I RAN OUT OF TIME (and also patience). Watched 47/70 eps. For a show about political scheming I didnāt find it very clever. Lots of things were happening just because the author wanted them to. The production is very high quality, although I canāt say the same about the writing. Sometimes I feel like the transition between some scenes were not sequential so the show felt a bit disconnected at times. The two main characters are quite interesting but Iāve not scene much growth from either character. Overall quite underwhelming.
At ep 27 and Iām really struggling to get through this drama. Thereās a whole lot of talking - like they donāt…
And ning yiās ambition of unifying the different states just feels like itās coming out of nowhere? I mean I get he has nothing much to do now that heās avenged his brothers death but still⦠go avenge your mums death or smth šš
At ep 27 and Iām really struggling to get through this drama. Thereās a whole lot of talking - like they donāt act out the scenes but just narrate them? Itās also quite slow and they spend a lot of time on unnecessary stuff but when we reach the climax of an arch, everything happens so quickly that it feels like they are just brushing pass things? Iām struggling to see the struggles and the smarts of the main characters too.
At ep 19 - this show is pretty confusing at times. And for a show thatās supposed to be scheming and āsmartā, a lot of things are happening because the author wants them to. Like A is leading to B then straight to D. What about C??? I am still curious to know how things unfold tho. But Iām watching this too slowly, idek if I can finish it before it leaves Netflix. I guess I have 10 more days for 50 eps š
