sorry but I didn’t like how she writes to Jo Hyun. She joined the show so she knew the concept right ? how could she not answer her questions and be that cold ? it’s not like she hasn’t been choose by her ex, she’s the one who refused to go on a date with him and preferred to go with another participant. idk but it’s weird to say “you should ask him directly” instead of answering the question and “he is happy with the person he loves. he was happy with me”.
maybe I’m being to sensitive, I’m waiting for the next episodes anyway

Dayh3e and Dongjin are actually together. it’s kind of logical based on their story, years together and how they loved each other deeply. But it was too hurtful to see them during the serie, I don’t like seeing people suffer like this.

For me this is a master piece.The plot brings deep political subjects and even shows some reality of marriage. A miscarriage can really destroy a couple.
Since episode 1, I felt that she didn’t really love her husband. She liked him, but it never seemed like she was in love with him. She even admitted it herself — she said that because he was warm and she was cold, she thought that over time she would become warm too. But that never happened.It’s like she believed he would change her, but it didn’t work out that way.He wasn’t supportive at all — it felt more like he needed her for his political image.
The mistress just got on my nerves. She was so disrespectful. If she really wanted to talk, she should have come to her before her lover’s death.

She accepted his kindness but also seemed to enjoy seeing the ML being jealous (she might find it cute and childish since she knows him well, pushing him to make some move). It felt more like some “comedy” moments, seeing his facials expression and her knowing his feelings. However when she was in private, if I remember well she kept boundaries with the “2nd” ML.

Exactly, that's why I think what Xiao Jue says to her is so meaningful. He's constantly reminding her that she can be whoever she wants to be because she's capable, and that she CAN express when she likes or dislikes something (unlike her father, who forced her to be someone else, forbidding what she enjoyed and denying her identity as He Yan).

For the first time, she can be herself, expressing her emotions and ambitions freely. That must be one of the reasons why she likes him so much, he's the only one with whom she feels she can truly be herself.

People always complain about dramas being too similar, with the same plots and revenge themes, yet when something different comes along, they complain about that too.
