there's another movie called the last mile which isnt a sequel per se but does feature the same characters in the movie but it just came out so it'll be hard to find subs for a while (i watched it on the plane tho)

owifjowiejf their interactions make me squeal everytime it's adorable

but in the books, utsumi is mentioned as is friend... and in the drama kishitani is mentioned s his friend as welll....

that's true.... but then garo does meet totonou at the end of the episode and ask for his help so i'm guessing that leads to season two where totonou gets involved with the whole garo situation? just my speculation though.... cuz it doesn't follow the manga at all ><

but- but how can the last two eps be off-track when they're literally continuing off the main story plot of the entire drama from episodes 2 and 3...

there s no prequel... well if you're talking about unnatural then no, you dont need to watch it, but it'll be fun because in episode 8 (SPOILER ALERT) there are a few cameos... also the two detective partners also show up frequently in both shows :)

i don't think garo and totonou end up as couple in the manga, but then again the drama doesn't really follow the manga... also yes we love those progressive writers <3 i've only ever seen representation in one other jdrama i've watched but that may be due to the genre i enjoy (crime/legal) haha... i still have my fingers crossed for garo and totonou though :C they're just too cute

if garo and totonou do end up getting together, i think that'll be the best slow burn there is... also i am lgbt representation- starved, especially cuz japan is still "old-fashioned" so to speak, and japanese media is all i ever consume so i guess that's partially on me ahaha

you should watch it at blitzfansub.com !! they're the ones whose hard work goes into subbing these dramas but other streaming websites just steal their work :C
