@ep15 and i just watched their mini reunion.

And I'm sorry but i liked the novel version more. 😅
I even reread that chapter just to be sure.

it was JQX who went to her. Just like when her class monitor shared that she will be the first person he will look for.
I can sort of understand why drama is implying that JQX is just sneaking off, to maybe make him seem less of a jerk by just completely ghosting her instead of doing a 'kiss and run".
Novel version just seemed more desperate (thus, more angsty!) 🤣

Also i dont remember if it's in the drama, but there was a scene where JQX that he wants to be more independent before he went to his cousin's, so he can give back to cousin. That would, i think, explain his decision not to tell them.

Anyway, will continue watching

There's already an edit in twitter of the 2 dramas. It was cute and it's nice to think this is their next life, to better explain their almost instant attachment from when they met as children.

But maybe because i binged the available episodes and everything's just flowing together.

I remember now. Yeh, i liked that they didnt change that.

He may be somewhat a neglectful father even before. And i think he really cares for his wife and he felt very guilty with their first son's death.
Not excusing his behavior though

But because he's not completely under her control anymore and he has time to rest and just be himself, he can calmly talk to her. I like their conversation where she propsed that they should just continue to resent each other. It was an interesting take.

Im trying to think of a bad cdrama mother that didnt have a redemption arc...

Saw this too. Also think it's a major scene in the novel so they should not omit it.
