He may be somewhat a neglectful father even before. And i think he really cares for his wife and he felt very guilty with their first son's death.
Not excusing his behavior though

But because he's not completely under her control anymore and he has time to rest and just be himself, he can calmly talk to her. I like their conversation where she propsed that they should just continue to resent each other. It was an interesting take.

Saw this too. Also think it's a major scene in the novel so they should not omit it.

I liked their chosen careers in the novel and their reasons. If in case they would change in drama i hope it would be as meaningful as in the novel.

I also think that even though it's over the top, this family dynamic or that kind of community cam exist, i just haven't personally seen or experienced it (w/c is a blessing of course)
Though i also dont mind WIFTY's FL acting cute, i think she is aware and that her friends and her ML accepts her for it.

I guess it's more expedient (?) for drama to show that neighbors are listening by having them in the streets compared to having to shoot them in their own homes.

Dad may have left the door open when he was coming in and saw JXC getting slapped.
And it was already shown before that they have a nosy community.

And if you think no one's listening and peeking from your neighbors when you're shouting and fighting, you're in denial. Or you don't have neighbors. 😁

Also the mother char was really hateful even in the novel.

And father also felt guilty that's why he barely stop his wife. Nor divorce her.
I was wondering if they will give her a redemption arc in the drama. But i dont think she will learn.
