Wait...so according to some links in this thread GB S2 is about expanding and following other characters from…
To be fair, if you take a look at it, a series format has more time to expand on the universe. I doubt they'll abandon CaiReel's story, but maybe they will start integrating Pearl's story more, and also the Alt.Gameboys cast.
Unlike in a movie format where you're trying to condense a lot in a limited time, you have a lot of room to explore when it's a series
You have 3 hrs to watch depending on your schedule. It's a 2 hr film. So if you book the 6pm time, you have until 9 to finish the 9 hr film. You can pause, rewind, fast forward, etc.
If you're an international viewer, take notice that you would buy an international ticket. Otherwise, the link will not work as it's region-exclusive to Philippines. If you did do so accidentally, try using a VPN to watch
Is it? I just feel it's an continuation of the last season, and I'm definitely liking it.
I know what you're talking about. It's the same but it's different lol.
They're putting in more somber and sad subplots with the patients. They're putting more highlights on the doctor-patient relationships this time around. I'm loving it as someone in the medical profession
His clinginess now is totally predictable, though. He is generally an affectionate and caring person, as evidenced…
Not necessarily. There's no manual on how a person should act. In fact, I would be concerned if someone will have to change their personality i.e. Jeong Won abandoning his nature of being affectionate to pander to certain 'behavioral standards' in order to become someone's spouse.
That wont be a love that's accepting
I do not invalidate your opinion though. Maybe I just know a lot of married couple who act all cute (ESPECIALLY NEWLYWEDS. Wintergarden is a fairly new couple so they would of course have this honeymoon phase)
The show doesn't have to end because of the actions of one person. While I wasn't a big fan of this show as I'm…
While I agree that it could be the biggest f you to an alleged predator, the characters are still his and intellectual property issues are hard to go around (unless comtractually, Globe Studios and the production agreed to own the characters).
As the cast and crew sans JMS said, "the story is still ours" (translated). They will continue to fight the good fight and not be hypocritical assholes.
I know we're all stuck in the Ik jun x Songhwa dram, but I truly truly loved the scene between Gyeoul and Yeon-u's (not sure of the name) mom. I cried so hard when they revealed her motives.
Also another detail that you may have missed: Andrea was serving her dinner and got her hot water, and when he came back, Gyeoul served him dinner. It was so minor but Andrea is such a giving person so seeing her serve him instead was nice
I found the dinner scene to be sad and a bit pathetic as well. I want her to move on too. She did confess before…
She confessed when he dropped her off and she said she liked him.
I do feel like Seokhyeong set boundaries. He was clear from the start that he was not interested. He even removed his christmas message to seem formal when he texted her regarding the xmas dinner. It's Min Ah pining over him and tbh it's sad at this point
Serious accusations of sexual harassment directed towards the show's creator (Severo) has recently come to light. Allegedly, Paolo Pangilinan and 3 others were the victims of said accusation.
Currently, Severo's Twitter account has been deactivated.
On a personal note: while I was personally never a fan of the show, a lot of people are. I'm saying this because I would like to say that you dont have to feel guilty for ever liking this series. Moving forward, however, I hope that we won't support possible predators. There should be no room for that here.
It's so sad that we have one less safe space.
But if your priorities at this point is being worried of the probable cancellation of season 2, then please reevaluate yourself. There are VICTIMS and the second season of this show is the least of their problems.
NGL... I was a bit disappointed with what had happened in the live. I thought they will announce season 2, but…
Dont think so. Pearl Next Door barely had sponsors and they still pushed through. Gameboys 1 was easier to produce in terms of pushing out new episodes like a factory because of the whole work from home format, but just from the trailer for the movie, you can see how quality the production was. It was obvious that time and effort was put into it. Although the movie is paid and not free unlike the first one, I would gladly pay and not view it as a bait for funding because they did spend resources for this anyways, and it costs a lot to film an entire production with a whole crew versus season one where they only needed iPhones
Yes they talked through the screen. It's an acquired taste and some people were bothered by it, but a good chunk liked it because it was the whole pandemic storyline and at that point, everyone was videochatting anyways so it felt more relatable

For Japan viewers, this film will be shown in theaters in december

Edit: ticked spoiler box so i wont spoil.

I dont think it was boring.
