Well, it was trash oppa, the thing is, it was always trash oppa, sorry Chilbong, but you never ever had a chance with Na Jeong cause she always looked at trash oppa.
What I didn't like about this is, that they kinda reveal the husband pretty early, but then tease us with the break up, and giving hope to Chilbong etc. I know the writers tried to create a 'will we change the husband last minute?' mystery, but I found that dragging.
And also, with the Reply Series, it's so that, when it begins with the big time jumps, it loses it's charm. And unfortunately, here they started pretty early with the big timejumps, and I truly lost the sense of time, how old they were, etc. (When they were preparing for the first wedding I was like, she is too young, she is just a student, but she wasn't a student anymore cause that went all too fast).
Did I have a Second lead syndrome? No, I never did, maybe it was because I knew who the husband was from the beginning, or maybe because I fell in love with Trash Oppa before Chilbong even joined the drama (he came around ep 3 I think). But, normally with second leads, I either have a syndrome, or I find them annoying (like bruh you should give up, or stop being in their way etc.), but here, eventhough I didn't want him to end up with Na Jeong, I still liked him. I even cried for him. I loved it that he realized it by himself that he never had a Chance, I loved that he let her go by himself, and I loved that 'Hyung' moment he had in the Final episode. And I'm happy that he is married, and most probably happy with her.
Oh and lastly, I decided for the next reply series (which will come, we all know it), I will not watch it while airing, I will watch it after it finishes and I know who the husband is, cause that way, I could enjoy it soo much more, I could really focus on the story and the relationships instead of just worryin about who the husband is.
it was such a bittersweet ending and my heart hurts. I mean even though they all got a happy ending, it's…
I read this from someone that he can die when he asks the almighty for it cause being immortal was his punishment, but his punishment ended, so he can die now.
Ok but, these are doctors, and nurses and just people with a medical education, so the prejudice against the HIV…
I get that they are risks at the surgery, but the thing that disturbed me most was how the people in the hospital looked at the patient when she came in, that's not something I would expect from the staff of an hospital.
Ok but, these are doctors, and nurses and just people with a medical education, so the prejudice against the HIV patient was totally absurd, I mean uneducate people have a prejudice against people with HIV, but a doctor should know better. Or maybe that topic is still now known in south korea???
In the polls everyone should have just one vote, and should'nt be able to vote again and again, here we see the results. Most of the winners won because of their popularity, not because they were the BEST.
My biggest fault was watching this in the middle of the night. I have to watch something fluffy befire I go to sleep. Especially the last parts with the old man was scary and could cause nightmares. But other than that, great movie big plottwists and a satisfying ending.
