This was weird. 4 different short stories with 4 different vibes to it.

First story:
This was the one liked the least. The story was simple and already shown in the trailer. The only thing that happened was a slo-mo tennis game with different shots. Just really slow.

Second story:

This was really weird but I liked the twist. But I don't have much to say overall.

Third story:

This was the fastest and funniest one and refreshing, especially the end was just soo funny and ironic.

Last story:

This was my fave. The overall tone, the revelation at the beginning. The directing and light changes at certain scenes. This story was exactly what I expected from the trailer.

The last story has a big impact on my rating. But I also liked the Idea of this whole thing and hope this will continue over a long series.

Thank you, very much!Down rate imply to minimize the overall rating but if you only adjust your rating towards…
oh okay, I've misunderstood it LOL

Amazing article. I loved reading it from the beginning to the end. I especially liked this statement:
"Another 27% of participants think the moment after they dropped a drama is a valid time to rate it, as well as the moment when they completed a drama. A lot of people who read this will get angry now. But just think about one aspect. If a drama was not worth to be finished by this person, why should this person not be allowed to rate the drama, since they gave it a chance to amaze them? Isn't the number of people who got disappointed an indicator for the quality of a drama as well? Would it distort the overall rating if only people who finished it would rate it - because the probability for a positive rating increases if a person watched the drama till the end? "

I was expecting most of these results but the last one made me surprised. Apparently I'm in the minority who re-rates (or downrates) dramas from time to time.
Why do I do that?
Well when I first finish a drama I'm emotionally attached to it so I see it through some pink glasses where I only see the good aspects of it so I often end up rating it very high. But after some time when I see the drama on my list I think back and try to remember if it left an impact on me and if I still like it. That's why I sometimes downrate dramas.

This was exactly how I wanted Something in the rain to be. Sophisticated, raw drama that seems like a slow pace but progresses pretty quick. At least for the first half. The second half it did start to get draggy at some points and I didn't like the back and forth of her gaining confidence and losing it again. Also there was wayy too much screentime for the annoying family and not enough for the leads and their relationship. Nevertheless I still enjoyed this drama very much.

it's been 2 and a half years and I'm still pissed at people that degrade this drama to a basic romance drama where the main conflict is who will get the girl.
This was a drama for the female lead and her life in college, it was all about Hong Seol, but the fandom made this all about the two guys and in the end everyone was pissed because of the ending whereas I was happy with the ending since it was still about Hong Seol.

I don't know if there is a problem with me lately but I can't seem to enjoy the lately hyped up dramas. I don't know but I can't relate to the characters or get into the story. Same here. I like the production team, I like the actors and the premise of the drama but I couldn't just get into it.

This drama had a lot of potential, but there was really no tension, no sense of working for anything. It was a…
I'm glad to see someone that shares my thoughts, especially if you look at the rating of this drama. I think it's waaay too high for something so mediocre.

On What's Wrong with Secretary Kim Jul 28, 2018
I rated this with a 6.5. Don't shoot me ok! I know many people are probably offended right now since all the ratings I saw on my feeds about this drama were 9 or above.
This was a simple rom-com with the basic cliche elements that were honestly used like a thousand times by now. Most of the time it was light and fluffy and the main couple didn't have any obstacles to face. This is all good and ok, nothing wrong with it. But I just couldn't enjoy it. There wasn't a story that really interested me. The main plot was like a cheap version of KMHM and it was solved soo quickly that it ended 4 episodes before the final.
I never really cared about the main couple, I said it once but I never felt that they really loved each other and I didn't understand when they fell in love so madly. The side characters were more interesting to me especially the new secretary Kim with the workaholic and Young Joon's friend and my rating goes totally to them.
If you liked it and enjoyed it that's great, unfortunately I wasn't able to enjoy it and didn't focus on the drama 80% of the time (I mostly did some gifs on the side)

WOW. Amazing article. I loved reading it. All these facts and different types of writers/readers are fascinating.

Personally for me a review is something important, you shouldn't just say that you liked it etc. because we have a comment section for this, the review should really be powerful and should help people decide whether or not to watch the drama or not. So by simply saying you liked or disliked a drama in a review is not enought. It should be describing but without giving out spoilers. I have to say I'm totally against writing reviews before the person finished the drama since I think the review should be about the whole drama itself. I'm very criticizing in that aspect.

I never read reviews before I watch the drama since I know not everyone sticks to the rule of No Spoiler but I do look at the ratings of the first 2 reviews of a drama. I see this with a lot of dramas that if they have a high rating in general but the first 2 reviews have not rated it very high, it probably means that the drama is overhyped. And it goes the other way too that a drama which is rated rather low has amazing reviews with high ratings - these mostly end up being really good dramas for me.

Title Come and Hug Me Spoiler
This started with a good and hopeful premise. I really liked the first few episodes especially with the adult leads and seeing the love they have to eachother in their eyes. I liked how they set up the story with the kids and the acting of the kids were A+. I really liked the first encounters when the adults met again but after they really started to communicate (which was the exact point I was waiting for) the show went downhill.
The writer tried to do many things at ones and opened one plot point after another. The focus of this story completely changed from the romance and love of the two leads to the father and the reporter. And if that wasn't enough we had a brother that was trying to copy his dad and another psycho as a copycat killer and an admirer of the dad. That was just too much. The writer was maybe ambitious and tried to do many things but in the end it just got messy and I totally lost interest in it. Many things in the end were predictable and the last scene was cheesy. I wished the drama would continue like it started. I really had hope in it but ended up being dissapointed.
