I mean I think its enjoyable. If you go in with an open mind with no early shipping I think you'd like it as much as any viewer. IMO people who are disappointed with this season were either shipping certain couples, only watching for certain people or don't like the drama (but dating shows always have some type of drama - for me it was expected).
I wouldn't say its my favourite season and production definitely tried to create more drama with editing etc., but there are some good storylines and the cast members are all good people.

well he wouldn't have known if they were suitable without getting to know or spend time with Ailin first. Him being moved by her was because of the initial attraction. And when I say fleeting, it doesn't mean what they felt wasn't real, just not as long lasting. It's not about intensity VS love its mistaking that intensity for love, if that makes sense?
Differences absolutely aren't a red flag (nor did i say they were), I agree with you that they can work, depending on the differences, they can pull the best out of a couple.

And I guess the meaning behind "compatibility" is subjective and how an individual defines being compatible. My definition could be different from Lechan, as yours could be different from mine etc..

Hi, I come in peace, just sharing my thoughts lol. I don't think he's solely looking for similarities rather he finds importance in shared values. Ailin and Chen have different perspectives about what sustains a relationship. Lechan puts more emphasis on compatibility, yes, whether that be emotionally, socio-economically, belief systems etc., Those things are important to explore when getting to know someone romantically. When he said "feeling moved and suitability are two different things", I interpret it as he definitely felt a spark or attraction but it was fleeting as he realized the growing differences. And thats not to say differences in a relationship cant work, but an initial meaningful connection doesn't always mean that person is right for you in the long run. People can- and often- mistake emotional intensity for love.
I think he may not have had an initial spark with yuan, but as they've gotten to know each other he's started to develop feelings because they're on the same wavelength, that in itself is attractive- when someone can truly and deeply understand, and empathize with you.
Also their age difference is only 4 years, in some cultures thats the perfect gap!
Yuan has shown how emotionally mature she is even though she's young, she's definitely had to grow up faster because of her past experiences and trauma.
Anyways its unfortunate someone is gonna get hurt in the end, cause Ailin and Yuan are both lovely girls and Lechan (despite public opinion) isnt a bad guy, just confused- which is the nature of these dating shows.
Considering this was filmed in advanced, I'm sure they're all past the drama and living their best lives now aha

the participants are all artists or have some relation to performance arts (mostly music), so love for music is the main theme of the show.

so far I enjoy it because I started shipping some pairs quite early, though i do find some couples a bit boring to watch. And i watch on youtube where the translations aren't great - that's the only negative thing.

I can't speak on the ppl calling him fake cause that's not my opinion. But what i said was completely glossed over and immediately misconstrued. Now im lodged in with the group that apparently "hates" theo. It makes me feel crazy!! I called the conversation b/w theo and junseo mature and saw it in a positive light... And then the fire nation attacked.
