this has to be my favourite heart signal china season. every houseguest is likeable and have great personalities. And all the final couples were lovely. Its bittersweet that i was craving the outcome/ending but now that its over I have nothing to obsess about LOL gonna miss this cast<3 such a good season!!

you prob know by now but basically leyan, oscar, mimi, qiqi, tomo + dinghao were speaking, leyan brought up feeling uncomfortable about a situation. When she came home the other day, she noticed oscar wasn't paying attention to her as he usually does and was hanging around with nini, yufan and qingya. Keep in mind here, leyan knows qingya had a crush on oscar (because of the invitation date). So i guess she was feeling insecure about whether oscar may be reciprocating feelings and she doesn't know about it. The misunderstanding that occurred was Leyan was feeling confused and asked oscar about it and he didn't give her an immediate response, which made her more doubtful. Instead of speaking to oscar privately about it she stormed off in search of Qingya to hear her side. Leyan and qingya went to the roof where leyan asked directly about their date (we didn't get much of the convo- i think it was heavily cut). Needless to say qingya was taken aback and confused about the situation and ended up crying in her room.
Theres a lot of context still missing, and you can decide for yourself how bad it was. To me it was all a big misunderstanding. The fans are blowing it even more out of proportion and making leyan to be this big bad villain when she isn't.
cause we know there's levels to a person and Leyan is human with her own flaws and insecurities. Throughout the show, she has never shown ill will or been mean to any of the house mates. And if she were this big mean girl we would see it in the interactions and body language of the cast. Plus I don't see why Oscar would like her if she were this horrible person.

I hope the cast have a reaction vid to this episode with leyan and evelyn present, so that fans of either girls can see there is no animosity b/w them. I'm sure when Leyan watches this back she will say something (probably to explain and apologize to Qingya) at least for the sake of the public since she's getting so much backlash. But even then the haters will prob call her fake or a liar idk lol

Leyan has been vocal that she will speak what she's feeling. She didn't understand a situation so she tackled it head on to get a better understanding, could she have done it in a different way? sure. I think as viewers we need to be more graceful and understand that we're only shown a snippet of what the producers want us to see. We don't know evelyn or Leyan or anyone else on that show personally, so it's unfair to judge who they are based on a 2 minute (edited) conversation. Leyan is also aware, she asked Qingya if she was scary after the conversation, so maybe she knows she came on a bit strong. She was impulsive in the moment.
This has already happened, we're only seeing it now. Im sure all parties have moved on from this situation- in hindsight it's so miniscule.
And I'm not condoning Leyans reaction, because I too would've done differently.. but we're different people. This is definitely something Leyan could learn from and something she will work on with Oscar in their relationship.
