I found an interview with English sub with the main leads for anyone interested!! I hope this gets enough success that it convinces others in the industry to produce longer K-BLs!
Omg this is so much better than expected?? I absolutely love slow burners which build tension. The acting and chemistry between them is A+++++. And YEEES at longer episodes. Also loving the cinematography.
Minor points of improvement are the editing and maybe the sound mixing, but I gather that this is an independent production. Honestly glad they went for actors who can act over current/former idols who kinda can't act and can make or break the BL.

They are so cute together, 10/10 casting - their chemistry is like the best out of all the K-BLs I've watched. Like even better than Semantic Error and at the level of To My Star. They're so comfortable with another, it's adorable. I also really like the boss character, he's so relaxed and friendly.
Gonchan is the weak link in this one. His over-acting is painful to watch. Other than that, it's a very well done…
I agree 100%, the overacting reminds me of an 'innocent' female lead in an late 2000s kdrama... I've fast forwarded sometimes to skip the cringe. But I do like how the episodes are longer.
I am rewatching episode 1 and I am slightly confused. Ritsu says he wish he could study literature instead of politics/economics but his parents won't pay for him to study it unless he got into TokyoU.
But then later in the series, it's revealed he did get into TokyoU but his dad wouldn't pay for it as it'd make his step-brother jealous so his Dad says he'll pay for all of his college expenses if he goes to another university instead.

I'm kind of sad this series did not gain more popularity by the time its finished airing... the actors really went out of their comfort zones for this series and it makes me kinda sad they won't be recognised for it. A strong 10 out of 10 imo that stands out amongst all the shows I've watched.
Either way, I really enjoyed this and I hope more BL adaptions in Japan take a more risque approach. Looking forward to future projects from the actors.
