this show had me hooked the whole way through, not a dull moment! the show gives commentary on social issues in an easily digestible way that doesn't villainize the person who is "different" as seen in some shows like this. i liked how it didn't shy away from showing how hikaru's parent's views of him affected him when him and haruka started dating and when he met her mother, however i wish it was integrated better than his parents showing up in one of the last episodes, it was kind of out of no where. i also liked how none of the male leads were toxic towards the female lead or vice versa, that's somewhat rare lol. my only gripe aside from how hikaru's parents were presented is... the overly bubbly airhead female lead... can we please let this character lay to rest!! i think ichicka osaki did a great job at making me not hate her but my god this character is so overused 😂
