I want him to play a morden role after this drama where he's boxer and revenge fighting
I want him to play a modern drama where he is a pop star. The hope is that he sings on stage in the drama. Of course it should be romance but who will be his love interest? I am not sure if she would be in the entertainment world or a brilliant surgeon or something else different from the entertainment world. Where are you getting this boxer image? 😂
I thoroughly enjoyed POJ regardless of anything I wished I might have seen.
I am going to read the novel then rewatch at some point. In the meantime, I still have the OST in my head. One scene that stands out is the end of ep 26 when JJ Lin's OST starts up. In the meantime, I watch all the clips that come on IG. I enjoyed POJ immensely but not satisfied with certain aspects and the ending. I feel as if something got lost.

I am surprised I haven't rewatched the drama right after it ended. I rewatched a few scenes and listen to JJ Lin's OST over and over but I haven't felt the urge to watch the whole drama again. I think somewhere about ep 28, I lost connection with the romance and then the ending was not satisfying in terms of the leads. But I still love the drama. I am going to read the novel right after the scene where she found out he is the marquis.
He has lots of romance drama. This is something new for him.
I didn't say it mattered. I said I haven't seen her. It is unusual especially if a drama does well for the actress not to have more dramas. Is that a problem?
I watched it several times too. I have no issues with it. It is one of my favorite scenes the way she took out that giant of a man😂 When the marquis rode in with the OST playing....sigh...💗
I watched it several times and I would have watched more if certain parts didn't break my heart. But after watching POJ, I started thinking of Bai Feng Xi!
The first part is the foundation of the lead's relationship and introduces the other characters before it goes…
Even though I didn't get certain scenes I hoped would be included, this is still a drama I would rewatch and I am still watching the edits I see pop up on IG. If you look at it from the plot and theme angle and you consider the connection between the characters combined with acting and production, it is more than worth the while. I have my disappointments but I still loved it. The protagonist ML and the antagonist sml both went through childhood traumas and losses. Yet the ML works for the good of all, and the SML let hate take over until one woman opened up a part of his heart that contradicted all that he had become. His ending is not a surprise considering redemption was too far reached and yet I felt some pity. There are scenes I found interesting and not just sizzling hot. For example, the bathtub scene could be symbolic of Yin and Yang and it is the FL who wears black while the ML wears white. I don't know if this was the director's intention, but it is what came to mind when I watched all the twirling of black and white. I could go on. While I watched POJ and enjoyed the humor for entertainment, there is a deeper level that I also enjoy and many other aspects. At the same time, I feel disappointment the ending was as I would have wanted it to be but I also try to appreciate the director's pov.
Yeah.. We keep hearing about his greatness but we don’t really get to witness it.. That was honestly disappointing..…
I enjoyed watching TXW so much and also the little actress who played Chang Ning. But the separation was too long because I started feeling disconnected with the romance. However, like many, I loved their scenes together when they did meet. I replayed the marquis galloping in at the end of ep 26 to swoop up Chang Yu many times. The OST was beautiful also.
They shouldn’t have overlapped the final battle like that.. It would have worked much better if it was Wei Yan…
The drama ending was not satisfying to me, but I think the director wanted to be creative. They all wanted to be creative. The director messed up the ending for Bright Eyes in the Dark, which I was enjoying so much. Netizens were so mad at the director that he sent Johnny Huang and Zhang Jing Yi to do a livestream saying it was an open ending etc. In POJ, I would have preferred seeing a happy ending with the twins and also the grand wedding!

I am not one to complain about screentime, but in this case, I felt the marquis needed his time to shine in battle, but we didn't get it. There is a lot to love in POJ though. Even my brother who never watches these dramas got pulled in watching with his wife😂
