I am happy to hear. Many come here because of Pursuit of Jade which I loved. But the romance in TPR is one I will never forget. It was in TPR that I came to love ZLH. His portrayal of Pei Wen Xuan was perfect. I never saw PWX as a simp as some did. Yes, he doted on LiRong and wanted her in his life, but he was never afraid to tell her when she was about to make a bad decision. I could see from the start that he had a commanding presence. LiRong for all her grand princess persona, cared about his thoughts and well being. Do I wish the drama had highlighted PWX's commanding personality? Yes. But there was enough there to show me that he was. I loved the march up the palace stairs to save his Rong Rong. To me, the romance was better developed here than in POJ. I loved all the scenes in POJ between the leads. The director was amazing. But there was something missing in the overall romance and the ending didn't add to it.

I am here checking also. What a waste of time and money if this never comes out.

I haven't started this yet, but you also dropped Pursuit of Jade and Speed and Love 😂 We have different tastes. Actually, a friend of mine who likes the same as I do, also dropped You Are My Fateful Love. I will give it a try later.

There are Chinese dramas not listed here. My mother watches them on youtube and there are no Eng subtitles. I think they are probably made for tv.

She and Her Perfect Husband is not just about the actress being older. Her character is much older and looks too mature for the ML. It is my personal choice not to watch. I even tried on episode and dropped it. Look at my list and you will see it wasn't added or rated. As for WOL, I don't think the drama described the FL as older than the ML but I recently watched Jing Tian in LOZ and didn't feel inclined to watch her again regardless of age difference. It is personal preference. I didn't add the drama. I didn't downrate it. It is all personal preference. I am not sure what you are saying by "I wonder how much older the ML can be to still be acceptable, " but is it okay with you if others have personal preferences?

We can certainly agree to disagree. No matter how I try, I can't see her as pretty, but she does the humour so well in terms of expressions. Its subtle and not overdone.

I loved the leads in The Princess Royal! People complained about the sml but I didn't even notice him until later when the drama focused on finding out the truth about what happened to cause her death. I have a soft spot for the ML, Pei Wen Xuan.

I didn't see her as obsessed. She is protective of all she sees in low spirits. She wants to help. She has a strong sense of empathy. She went on to college and didn't let the situation defeat her. She is a strong fl.

Yingtao's personality is to lift others when she sees them down. She is protective of those she feels need help. It makes her a wonderful character. But this drama was targeted by some who wanted to see more of ZLH. They are mad that he did not get more scenes so the y downrated this. Even his fandom attacked it. They didn't even support their own idol's drama.

I am on ep 2 of ALP and now that I understand the set up, I am getting into it, but I have to agree with others, she is not exactly pretty. I can't say I like Xu Kai's hair in this either but his face is classic. He looks handsome regardless.
