It looks like an edited version of the drama, if they had really ended it this way then it would be assumed he lived and he went home as he promised.

This is not as bad as what happened with Bright Eyes in the Dark. I understand your disappointment but at least the couple had a happy ending.

I really don't find the brother as bad as the comments here were saying. And I don't find the ML weak at all. But I am on ep 28 so not sure if the brother gets worse. Right now I am feel bad for him because he wants his wife back. I don't think it is just for business. I think he loves her.

They call it an open ending. Some differ and says he dies.

The back right corner of the theatre is empty. If he came in late and sat in that section, it looked like he was all alone. Again, I am not saying you are wrong.

I am only on ep 22. I think I missed the part where the FL was in the pool because I saw it in a flashback and I don't remember watching it. I might have missed an episode because I watch Viki on different devices and it might not have synced correctly. What I am seeing so far is that his mother loves him. He is all she has as her husband did not love her. I know she wants him to take over from the half brother for her own reasons and I also want him to gain more power so he can do more and not be at the mercy of his brother.
As for the brother, it appears he was a good brother before but now he wants to kick out the family and take over out of revenge. I don't think he is all bad and there is part of him that loves his brother. I need to watch more but so far I can understand the ML not fighting back the way viewers want him to
