Our Generation is deep. I enjoyed AASOL. It is a cozy drama to watch. And I also loved OG. The dialogue is meaningful and beautiful.

The scenes with Ying Tao and Uncle Wang showed Ying Tao as an empathetic and caring FL. She sees the need in others and tries to help them.

I remember taking a walk just before the final episode because I didn't want it to end. It was such a sweet drama.

I have been meaning to write a review but got busy after because I wanted to give my take on the comedy. I assume you are referring to the hotel scene where they appeared as Barbie & Ken then Edward & Bella.

Episode 14 at the dinner scene was definitely a tough watch but needed for the drama to move to the next arc. She tried to express her love but was rejected. From there it moves on. I did not see a "self hatred trail."

She did not go on a "self hatred train." She owned up to what she did and showed respect to her mother in law and father in law by apologizing as was the right thing to do. She shed the masks and gave up the anchor job to start over. She showed determination and resilience. You didn't finish it or you would have seen this.

I noticed the word in many cdramas and I think it is a translation issue.

If you look at it as the first part showing a couple perfectly synchronized until they shed the masks then moving on to a different stage where she no longer lives to be what others expect of her, it makes sense.

I don't know about others but it hooked me and held me hostage for weeks and I am still thinking about it. It deserves the hype! It is a work of art. I loved it so much!

Nice to meet you too! I wanted to explain the low rating for Our Generation. I could say more but it is disappointing what happened in here. The drama was originally called Cherry Amber. I was happy to see you recognized the FL as the glue that kept the group together. She saw need and tried to uplift those she saw who were down. She was the light in Qiao Xi's life. It is no wonder he loved her.

Many of loved it. However, Our Generation was targeted by several groups. Many dramas get downvoted by the anti fans or CP fans but at least they had the support of fans. Not OG. Many who expected to see more of Zhang Ling He were upset and did not give the drama support. At one time, all the positive reviews were mass downvoted to push them to the back. One day they were trending at the top and overnight we would come in to see all the negative and even poorly written reviews with scores of 1 mass upvoted. The few positives now at the top were posted after.

I am glad you saw the value of friendship in OG. Cherry was the glue for sure. She was a wonderful friend who was giving and kind but not afraid to face adversity. It is too bad that her strength and perseverance came off as being clingy to some.

They are cute together. I think they had fun doing this😂
