Well said. He wasn't a simp. He understood her. He was proud to watch her succeed but he also stepped in to tell her if she was making a poor choice. He is a master strategist even if some say it was not shown as in the book. It amazes me that people saw him in action when he went to save his LiRong and fought SRQ and they still call him a simp.
