I saw some comments admiring Madam Yu for defending Fan when her son didn't appreciate her but I think she just likes to control her. Other than that, I haven't seen a thing to admire in the Yu family.

I just made a comment similar to this above. Great minds. I was even going to add that I bet they end up farming some land after all this.

I am tired of looking at Tingyun's serious face. I am fed up. You are not alone. It took me all day to get around to watch ep 30. I was looking at all the BTS clips from Toronto and some mini dramas.

Where is this drama going? Is the road to splendor a painful path to self-discovery? Will Zhao Ling realize that the climb to the top wasn't what he expected because splendor isn't a destination but something within, and he only needed to recognize it? One thing is for sure: the journey is exhausting 😮‍💨

I gave up to be honest. I am just watching to see how it ends. It has become frustrating. I have been watching some mini dramas. Usually I watch the newly released episodes as soon as I can but lately I find myself more interested in the mini dramas than the latest episode of RTS.

I didn't even watch ep 30 till just now. I didn't feel eager to watch it. It doesn't help that I see more coming.

Ep 30 was so brutal. Not a break of a smile, and not to mention savage where Madam Wu was concerned. Tingyun never smiles. I am getting tired of that look of gloom on her face. This drama needs some traces of splendor between the potholes in the road.

His loyalty to his father/family came first. But I could see he doesn't want his son to end up like him. When he saw his mother with his son, he had a look of dread.

I decided to watch it and get it over with. I am watching ep 30 now and really not in the mood for grand secretary Yu. His son was too over the top dramatic. I don't blame the emperor for walking out.

I haven't watched today's episodes yet. Should I just wait for tomorrow because the previews looked like more problems. I can't stand it anymore 😭

He means Madam Mo. Sister in Law is the term they use for wives of peers or friends.
