Exactly!!! I feel exactly the same. It was because of those middle 3 or 4 episodes that I didn’t give this a 10 but the ambiance of Shen’ao village was so beautiful I should up it to 9.5 especially as I will rewatch.

I think it is because this one was so slow and people dropped it. I don't rate a drama if I start it and decide it is not for me but some do so they keep a track of their dramas in terms of likes. It is such a beautiful love story but it does have a few episodes I found draggy. It has so many wonderful scenes that it is well worth the watch.

I didn't say anything about age. You said mature audience. Some dramas have a unique quality that some might appreciate. It is not about being mature. It is about what people like. Just because Esther has a young voice and her character was bubbly in the first part, it doesn't mean it is not for mature audience.

I even loved Ski Into Love. I enjoyed it. I laughed a lot watching that drama. I even watched it more than once. I know the editing was choppy but I still enjoyed. it.

Oh it will be hard to watch him in this after watching him in a drama that he was so good. I need to wait a while before I start this.

The earlier part of the FL in college I will skip on rewatch but from about ep 6 it was much better.The relationship was mature.

Oh no! Is Miles Wei in this? I just finished watching him in You Are My Fateful Love, so I don't think I am ready to see him in an evil role. The last time was in Flourished Peony and YAMFL managed to purge that from mind.

Maybe the director thought it was all too sweet and didn't give him any love. My huge disappointment here.

I tried the first ep of Moonlit Reunion and there was something about it. I don't remember why I didn't continue.
If you are looking for some modern dramas, Love Between Lines and Shine on Me were really good. I also loved Speed and Love but not everyone likes Esther Yu. I enjoy watching her so I loved it.
