After I rewatched ep 5, I edited the relationship section of my review. You are right about the reason he used the word love. He did a quick change from love in terms of romance to love in terms of desire once she gave in that first night to sleep with him. He wants to act as if his in control while she cannot control her feelings. But he is so seductive. He blinds me 😂

From the flashback, his father didn't have time to stay with him in the hospital. I will watch it again. I don't remember the episode though.
