Topic: Death of Some Characters1. good thing they didn't kill anyone in heyan's squad since the chars who were…
I wish they had saved Yan He. I don't feel his death was necessary. Maybe they could have had him on the brink of death enough for He Yan to make CZ feel remorse.
I haven't read all the comments while I watching today, but I saw enough to see some are disappointed. I don't understand, but I know we can't all like the same things. I enjoyed it.
I might be the minority here, but I find myself feeling sympathy for Chu Zhao. He is not evil. He is deluded in thinking he could have Ye Han's love but on the whole, he is not a bad person. Oh well, I will continue to the final episode.
Edit: I am watching and I can see where the hostility toward Chu Zhao is coming from but I am still a bit sorry for him.
I felt so much for his character. He saw Ying Tao as his light. There is no way he wanted to hurt her. But in…
His mother controlled him but you will not see her after ep 14 I think. You will just know how she affected him mentally. It was clear to me. I didn't need to see the details from the book. OG has only 24 episodes. I think ZLH does not appear at all in ep 16 and 17 which is a point of complaint for some. But I think it served the purpose of mystery and for us to see Ying Tao go on with her life and make new friends. I don't want to spoil it for you if you haven't watched it yet.
What a well detailed review this is! I nearly cried while reading this review. To some extent, I can resonate…
Ying Tao was also misunderstood by some viewers. By nature she is kind and thoughtful. She sees need and she tries to brighten someone's day. It i s not surprising she was drawn to the quiet subdued boy as a child. And the fact that bond grew into more than friendship is a beautiful love story. They was nothing obsessive about Ying Tao. Her character is not afraid to face the truth so she will go after it head on. I like that. She doesn't hide in dejections. She stands up and confronts.

Chu Zhao joining Bichang in the top hated character list.
Oh no! Don't tell me he does something wrong. I am on ep 33. I have been feeling sad for him. He had a tragic childhood, and then he did the right thing in reporting Xu. He likes He Yan, but she does not have those feelings for him. I have been reading comments that show dislike for him, and I wondered if I missed something or is it ahead?
Thank you for reading. I felt fully connected with OG and spent time rewatching the scenes closely. I found significance…
You are right about the drama reaching its own audience. I don't always pause to rewatch scenes in dramas but I did many time in Our Generation. The use of flashbacks, dialogue, symbols, and juxtaposition gives this drama depth and significant scenes. It is too bad some didn't appreciate it.

Nevermind. I see it now 😥
