In Bright Eyes in the Dark, netizens were so mad about the way the director change a happy ending to one that some felt was tragic. The leads quicky had livestream where Johnny Huang said his character did not die and that it was an opening end. Zhang Jing Yi tried to convince us why the ending the was good. Bah!

But I will say, the forum for BEITD was one of the best I have ever been in because there were no toxic fans. People were enjoying the drama till the end. Those who didn't like it just left. And when it ended, we were on different ends but we all just discussed and openly said we disagreed or agreed. I was in the denial mode and came up wih some theories and nobody bashed me. They just said, "Sorry. Disagree."

It is worse when they try to get creative with the end and change a HE from the book to an open or sad ending. I heard this has a satisfying ending.

They need a special episode to give us some more details and the babies. I don't know if you saw The Double.People were so angry at the ending that the director scolded badly on Weibo. They made a special episode with the leads and two kids.

We just wanted to watch. And many of us like the sml and sfl so much we wanted them to be happy. I love romance. And I love many actors actresses. But I don't have time to check all the outside news. Do you know which scene annoyed me? After she came back in the taxi on the steps. After they cleared it up and were finally together. They should have kissed. It is realistic. But nothing but huh? huh? huh? huh? I am usually forgiving but this was not right.

I saw a bts where the director told Mai Mai to act reserved. And then they talked about the kiss and said it should be gentle and ZLH said maybe just hold his face. Isn't this the same scene except we didn't see this.
