How do you know many parts were cut? I keep seeing posts about this and there are 3 screenshots. One contained a scene about the uncle in HK which would have shown us JQX's reason for leaving but this was shown in the HK arc. Another so called deleted scene looked pretty much like the one we saw but the lines where he said his cousin was helping him pay for his studies abroad was cut. Big deal if they cut that because that all came out during the Hong Kong arc. Another was about his unsent text messages. I am seeing the same posts over and over but nothing else.

I also wish there were more episodes. The wedding scene was beautiful and unique, but I wanted to see the friends etc. However, it was still outstanding.

Didn't you see he went to speak with an irate employee? He was pushed off by that guy.

I disagree about the ML's acting. He was outstanding. I watch his scene multiple times and his emotional scenes stand out. He was numb with his mother. She mentally abused him and he probably blanked his mind when he was with her.

The dialogue has been going around in my head. There has been so many outstanding scenes and dialogue. I hope more people like you come in once they are finished to give some intelligent insight and comment on its beauty. I am sad now that it has ended. There should be more. I am taking some time to process and just looking at the page. I hope those who have been relentlessly complaining every day about deleted scenes will take the day off to allow those of us who appreciated this gem to have some insightful discussion.

I read some comments when people complained about the changes. I still say the way he took her necklace in ep 15 was more effective emotionally than it was done in the book.

It is because she understands him. She knows he needs her. She knows what was done to him. It is not that easy to erase all those years of mental abuse from his mother.

He had to learn to love himself.

I finished it. I am so sad it ended. I want more. It should have been more but I am satisfied. The director left the details to what happened for the HK arc. I had a feeling that was his angle since there were two parts I saw deleted where JQX mentioned his cousin. We didn't quite get out wish for our second couple. I am not sure if the conversation they had implies a possibility.

Mai Mai, you are a top favorite of mine. Watching you is never dull. You light up the screen and your portrayal of Ying Tao could not have been more perfect.

I don't want to read the forum just yet because I don't want the comments to ruin this moment. I have been scrolling by the constant same complaints everyday without responding to any. Zhang Ling He was in every episode from 18 to 24 and I feel satisfied that all the details were presented. But even without, I could understand Jiang Qiao Xi due to Ling He's outstanding performance. Every expression on his face showed his character's joy, pain, worry, and yearning.

All the princess references made me smile. It was pure joy to see my Peirong couple reunited again in this lifetime. What a beautiful ending and wedding scene. The child actors were outstanding. My only disappointment is that I wanted more of the family and friends. I hope by some miracle there is a special episode. And hopefully Ling He gets his wish for a 3rd collaboration with Mai Mai 💗💗💗

I am about to watch ep 24. I loved all of the episodes so. I am baffled that the rating dropped but as long as I love it, it doesn't matter.

The supermarket checkout scene in ep 23 was hilarious! I guess it was build up for later even though later was a bit stingy of the director 😂 I still loved it though. I am on to ep 24. So sad this is the end .

I started to cry a few mins into ep 21. He looked so tired.

Finished ep 21. It did not disappoint. But also sad to see JQX story about what happened. I figured the director would use flashbacks. He kept the story about the cousin till these later episodes, which is probably why the parts that would give information about the cousin were deleted. Well, on to ep 22!

It is not even a matter of taste. They are are in an uproar and feel they must fight back by bashing this drama daily. Anyway, I am staying away from them. I will check in between eps and go directly to friendly comments. NOT scrolling through!

7 mins into ep 21 and it does not disappoint. My heart aches for JQX. Cherry is impressive the way she takes control.
