I recently watched "Love Story in the 1970s" the ML is same so I think I will have to watch this one now.
I just finished Love Story and came back to visit. It was beautiful love story but it lacked intimate scenes between the leads. I realize the leads are at a younger stage in their lives than the second couple but leads needed something.
I hope you will love L&P the way some us do. The rating does not do it justice.
I finished it. This is a beautiful love story, but I don't know why the director didn't give the leads more intimate scenes.I am not talking about hot kisses, but even a slow kiss or something more intense than "close the curtains." However, as far as emotions go, don't cry that easily and found myself crying in many scenes, especially the heartache of getting into college. And the love between the leads was well developed. The themes of family relationships, love and sacrifice, the need to work hard to improve vs. leaning on others for help, and social status were well developed. It would have been perfect had the director given more focus the intimacy between the leads. The "close the curtains" and under the blanket scenes got tiring to watch. At least the covered hicky incident was funny. I had to laugh at Feng Lin, the most judgmental character who lacked conscience herself.
I have two more episodes to go. Why does the second couple get more intimate scenes than the leads? I am always going to associate "Close the curtains" with them. That seems to be all we get.
@ houda yaakoubi You made several comments here. For someone who says she never found ZLH talented, you have both…
I figured that. I am not fooled by her high rating of one of his dramas. The fact that she wants him cancelled for one comment that was not intended to insult anyone is absurd.
