I don't understand how her mother could take in those people. She didn't take in YiFan but here she has the disgusting aunt and uncle in law.

Screaming is overdone. I saw that in As Beautiful As You and while some praised it as the best fight scene, I saw it as overacting. I like YiFan's quiet voice. But I wanted her to be clear to her mother about what happened to her. Her mother is in denial because she is too selfish to face her part in this.

She needs to spell it out in black and white that the uncle in law tried to rape her and that the aunt treated her like dirt and her is the mother giving them shelter. I want to see the mother and her new family hear all this including the husband.

I was wondering why SY appeared. I didn't catch that part. I always felt MYC was kind and a good person. People spent time hating on him. There is nothing evil in him especially when you look at YiFan's family. They deserve the hate especially the mother. I am usually more forgiving as I try to see both sides but with YiFan's mother there are no excuses. I hope she sees the truth about how she failed as a mother and live to regret what she did to her own daughter. It makes me so mad.

I never felt Mu Cheng Yun was a bad person. He was pushy but I just figured he was young and overconfident. I think it was good that he cleared up things with YiFan.

No it is not necessary. I loved Hidden Love also. I rewatched the episodes of HL as many times as I watch TFF.

Some dramas need more episodes. I am not interested in the grandpa having so much time, and the time could have been used to build up the second couple's story. I stopped watching the grandpa scenes after a while, so I cannot comment on them further.

From the comments I thought YiFan was going to say more to her mother. It wasn't enough. I wanted her to really tell her more and make her face what she did.
