I am seeing similar comments that she is better in this. She looks the same as she did before though but I only briefly watched ep 1. I really hope I will love this. It is too bad they didn't keep the same Sang Zhi and Jiaxu for brief appearances. In Go Go Squid 2 , Li Xian and Yang Zi made appearances. But Bai Jing Ting is a big attraction for me!

I don't know why you think it is bitter HL fans. As far as I know, the HL fans have been looking forward to this. Every drama has some people downrating it so I don't think you should be so quick to blame HL fans. I watched HL more times than I want to say🤣 And I am thrilled this is out even though I would have preferred another actress. No hate for her. Just don't love watching her. However, I am going to give it a try. I don't think any HL fan is purposely lowering the rating. And by now, most HL fans know it is not the same actors and we will not see much of the Jiaxu and Sang Zhi.

I can see someone went ahead and rated all the episodes the lowest they could and I guess a few tried to counter it with high ratings. The episodes ratings will go up once all who are watching rate them.

I haven't seen any negative comments about Bai Jing Ting. How far down is that?

I don't think there are any bitter HL fans. I am big HL fan and have been looking forward to this. People by now have accepted it is not Victor Ma and anyone who knows Bai Jing Ting knows he will be amazing which he is so far.

At some angles he looks like Zhang Ling He. I saw some of ep 1. BJT looks so handsome. I know know what you mean. All I had to do was watch him dressed in black! I am going to wait for Netflix. L&P vibe? I have only watched half of ep 1 as I am not home. But L&P vibe is one I have never seen replicated. L&P had a sizzling yearning from Li Xun. It is funny you said that because when this drama was first announced and they kept changing the leads as the rumors dictated, I hoped it was Zhang Jing Yi.

No, you do not need to watch HL first. But HL was a beautiful watch. I loved it.

He was also great in You Are My Hero. If you haven't watched A New Life Begins, he is the ML in that too but it is a historical.

Some the vertical dramas are addictive even if they are low budget. I find myself watching when they pop up on youtube. I haven't started Love of the Divine Tree yet so I might watch that.
